i have connected my hard disk to my pc and power on

im check my BIOS configaration boot device this is not detcting the

if your HDD it's ok (withour MBR defective or - worse - bad sectors) here you'll find the answer...MAYBE...

Or try F8 and select ''Load last known good configuration''...
OR (sadly) you MUST reinstall your OS :oops2:

Try to plug properly the power cord and IDE/SATA cable.

Unplug any optical drives, usb or other hdd.

Post your results.

if this is a new hdd, make sure that it is properly jumpered as master or slave depending on your configuration. next, make sure that it is set as the first boot device in your BIOS and that you have an operating system installed on it.

if you can tell why you put the hdd in, like was it an additional hdd or you replaced your old hdd, etc.
