There is this thing called extended ROM, and there are cab files inside, very old factory built-in softwares that comes with the device. Can I delete these to save space?

Used to have this problem with 7.02 version. I installed my Resco Explorer using the 7.02 CAB installer from the developer's site. Then I un-installed my Resco and used the EXE installer. Now I can create folder in my device and memory card.

it should not be like that..CAB is used to install directly to your mobile device..
if it is that the case then we can say there still something to be fix on the CAB file...

ANOTHER BUG in 7.02:

When you tap EDIT FAVORITES and order the list, then you can't go directly to the favorite folder. It will hang/freeze.

1. Version 7.02 ALLOWS overwritten ROM files now. This feature was missing in the previous release. GOOD!
2. I did not test all the features but the ones that I tested, basic copy, delete, browsing, folders...etc seem to work fine

yes, that's right.. making "new foleder" doesn't work in this version. maybe there are still bug on the CAB file.. try to use the EXE file..:exactly:

For Folder issue.. download the lastest Resco Explorer from the resco site. They updated the software but did NOT change version.

So 7.02 is actually with the folder issue fix. (Download latest version from Resco site, and compare file properties with your current version, you will see the size is different.)

OPTION 1:

The registery Editor is in the .exe

You will get the option to select/ install it when you start installing the explorer.

Run the exe and see...

OPTION 2:

Go download the REGISTERY EDITOR CAB from the resco site direct, BUT you must have the Explorer installed already.

Easier to do option 1

I download and installed the v7.03. Is a great file explorer

OK I see what you mean. Personally I've been using The Explorer AND The Registery Editor by just putting in the code for the Explorer only.

If you open the REGISTERY EDITOR and look at the registration details, you will see it says ALREADY REGISTERED.

To date NEITHER has expired or asked for the code/ a new code.

Question still open, anyone else with a better answer?

Well - I reflashed my diamond to the new bepe rom and reinstalled everything.
Maybe the last time I have mixed some versions of the resco stuff or anything other, but now it works as you said.
