Thanks to rolan95d's for his great works finding most animations as possible...
Let's begin.
I´ve heard some people complaining because the menu doesn't turn in what they want, so I work to make the all folders animated when we activate the animation option BUT I work also in non animation menu.
With my work you guys will have all folders animated (except the green man and internet folders) and when desactivated the animation you will have the 15 folders without losing nothing.
So here it goes the steps:
1. you need xplore and your phone must be hacked
2. you need my files attached and rolan95d's animations folders
Now:
1. Disable caps
2. copy Menu.mif to C:\resource\app\(paste it)
3. copy m3gicons to C:\resource\(paste it)
4. copy appshelldata.xml to C:\private\101F4CD2\Content\(paste it)
5. restart your phone and... voilá! There you go all folders animated (except the green man and internet) and when turn off you have all 15 folders non animated
NOW. REMEMBER the you will need ONLY to put your applications in each folder because the appshelldata.xml provided is with my menu layout and the folders name are in portuguese but you can also rename them.
NOTE: I made this because the folders when non animated with the rolan95d's and Tyx trick don't work with the themes that have all phone folders. Now you can change themes with all folders without any prob!
Enjoy ;)
Best regards.

Your animated icons, if you turn off the animation and put a theme, for example Absolute Pure by giambi with all custom folders, will not work well... In my phone doesn't work...!
But now with this new "trick" have made with rolan95d and tyx (you;)) help I was able to change that without probs.

Hi Alberto,
do u know a way 2 make the pimped up appshell stay in this way?
This way it's so much easier 2 edit it (by the way; these strings are useless now due 2 using yours)!
As u can see i also named the UID apps.....
Because when i set in private, overwright and restart it will change again in a continious string...
It works brilliant though!
can I make this file hidden so i can easily update it?
here is an example after pimp:

i am also rewrite so it looks pimped...
Much easier 2 gain acces when u need something.....
read only works perfectly.....
I copy the c:/private one 2 e: (makes it a normal file) and open it with the PC...
Change and rewrite, save it, send it back 2 the PC en overwright in c:/private/..... Set the atributes back 2 read only...
That's it....
I have 2 say that I like your version much more....
It's so much fun 2 change from animation an or off and show the great difference when apps icons comes 2 live!

Hmm, strange, for me it works fine... Let me compare what you did...
....
The only difference that I find is that I have kept some of the Z:\ folder
standard files. This works fine for the N95 8GB. Maybe on your phone it looks
for the folder in C:\ first.
I can confirm that at least for the N95 my file has animation, theme changing and language changing (apart from 3 folders where I couldn't find the language tags).
I just updated my version, so now it doesn't read anything from Z:\. Please test it: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Yeah, my file is made to read only from C:\ maybe that the reason wont work with me... Well, now I have it all to work, so I'm happy :). Just need the green man animation and internet folder animation... :)
Now I'm a little busy trying to add the animations of our friend Rolan95d to my appshelldata.xml but is hard work :)!

What i mean is after following the 5 steps then after restarting my phone and turned ON animation, animated icons truns now to plain icons. for example, the green man icon disappear,etc... But when turning OFF the animation, 15 new icons brings back but without animation...
What i did is just copy the Menu.mif, the m3gicons, and the appsdatashell on C folder of course with the right destination of folder... Question now is, is it right to copy the attached appsshelldata going to my phone?? Do i did something wrong in the procedures??
Here is the actual screenshot after animation is turned ON and then next screenshot is after turning OFF the animation.

I stated my casr earlier.....
The problem is that the m3gicons can't be read!
So :
1) Double check that u did use my m3gicons in the pther post
2) Check if they are in a folder called m3gicons and been placed in c:resource/m3gicons
3) Did u have a excisting menu.mif in c: (from menueditor??) and so did U drop this one 1 and overwrighted with this version.....

I have found this tools on the web...
i think you can use it to create a lot of personal animated icon..
M3GTool
Introduction
This is a simple command line utility to make some modifications on M3G files. The primary purpose to write the tool was to be able to remove embedded Image2D objects and replace them with external references. (The blender exporter embeds all images)
Usage
The program reads the command line, parses it as a series of commands and executes it. For example to print the contents of a file (eg. "in.m3g"), you can do the following:
m3gtool --open in.m3g --print
To replace the first Image2D object with an external reference:
For a complete list of supported commands check out:
m3gtool --help
A more complete description will follow here soon
