This is a small application to asign tones to key-press on Nokia phones.
Author: FCA00000-at-yahoo-dot-es
version: 2008.07.13
Get newest version from:
fca00000.googlepages.com/NokeeaTons.rar

This is still a proof-of-concept, more or less.
Right now it maps keys: up, down, left, right and left to sond files c:\data\xxx.wav

You need to use any profile, except the 'Silent'.
There is NO need to setup the keypad tones in
Tools->Profiles->General->Personalize->Keypad Tones

After the application starts, press 'Up' key to test it.
Now you can switch to any other application and the key tones remain in effect.
To stop this customization, close the application NokeeaTons

In this version, only 4 keys are customized. The purpose of this version is to get feedback from users.
So, I would like to know your ideas. Feel free to send sound files in WAV format. Keep them small and short, please.

Things that are possible:
-Individual sounds for every key
-Different volume levels
-Autostart
-Different sound for different applications

Thanks

Nice job FCA00000! Is possible to map sounds for open/close slide on N95? It would be very effective :-) Could you try to do that?

Great stuff! :excited:

works perfectly on my N95 v21 hacked and on my N73 v4.0812.4.2.1 hacked.

I was actually going to try and write an app in python to do sounds to the N95 slider. But havn't got round to trying yet. This looks like it may be the best idea :D

can't wait to see what this is going to turn into :excited:

Rock On FCA00000 :D:

This is a great idea. the sounds in your demo are too load and irritating, but i'll be keeping an eye on this thread. Thing is, samsung phones have had this kind of stuff for a few years. when will you be releasing your next version?
