View Full Version : Trick to increase fone memory of n73 by 5MB(hacked phones only)
here is the something really ineresting to increase ur N73's fon memory by nearly 5MB...all u hav to do is to hack ur fon..go to c:/private/102072c4 folder and delete the reserved file...its size is 4.76MB...so der u go...u free around 5MB of fon memory space...it does eventually come back at times..so at those times u can delete it again...
its the file which reserve the extra memory if u del this file there is nothing happen and no harm to ur phone its safe just do it and enjoy the 5 MB more free mem on ur nokia n73

6. I found some huge file in phone, c:/private/102072c4/reserved.bin, 4.5 Mb size of plain 0xff.
Deleted it and free up phone memory check if your phone has one.
the files are for FOTA (firmware over the air) coz when i remove it, and go to the device mgr. app it reapears, so its safe to remove it, we wont need it as we never get any FOTA updates.

dude, n73 in new firmware, uses demand paging to keep load off ram. so so it uses a page file in phone memory to FREE RAM. ull need more ram all the time not more phone memory. dont delete this file. its for the best. like when u want to play ngage. ngage will be officially launched for n73 soon. its on the website. so dont do something stupid

i have a 4gb ram on pc so i have 6gb page file. i dont delete it. gotta live with it.
