Hi.
Many of you play cracked N-Gage games on not yet supported mobile phones (5700, N73, N93 and ect.). Some of the games works fine, but others with low performance. I mean, when I play Asphalt3: Street Rules or System Rush: Evolution, I have to turn of sound tu reduce the lack of FPS.
I've crated this new thread to ask you, what can be done to performance improvemant for phones with low hardwere, such as Nokia N73.
Maybe BiNPDA team could be able to suggest something...
Here is may advices how to improve the performance of N-Gage gaming:
Turn off sound. About 5 FPS plus
Do not do any else tasks, just N-Gage
Thanks for more advices...

when you play midnight pool, it sometimes go slow when you hit the hole and it shows player and he is sayin "yeah" or something else depend what caracter you have - when in this moment games slows down a bit, you just press and hold menu button and then when you see the tasks that are running (even if only n-gage is running) just select back n-gage and game will be in full speed again!

There's some which is quite obvious:
- Quit any other applications not in use.
I would suggest using JBak TaskMan and looking for processes that are running without having any much function.
Some of the names are easily recognizable as to which programs they are associated with.
keymapdaemon.exe is related to MagicKey (Don't termintate if you use it)
DRMcommonsolution and such is related to Psiloc products, so unless you use Psiloc Connect in N-gage you can termitate those too.
carousel is for the multimedia menu (in N82).
The best thing is to just play around a bit and try terminating processes and see what happens in your phone.
If you've done anything silly, the phone will just hang and a reboot will fix it.
Besides as mentioned earlier it is also quite easy to figure it out by the names.

Is it possible to have an updates on traditionally cracked N-Gage applications? I'm asking it, because, when I try to update may N-Gage applications, wich isn't updated, like all ckracked N-Gage installers, it says it's on updated.
Maybe there is some new N-Gage installer release cracked by BiNPDA?
Will anybody crack N-Gage installer to Nokia N93, N93i and N73?

As mentioned in my tutorial:
I suggest that you restart your phone before (not necessarily after) playing any N-Gage games. A fresh restart means -> fresher, cleaner memory RAM of the phone -> cleaner memory RAM, means faster phone response (loading). And N-Gage 2.0 takes a lot of RAM to start. This should also fix the error "Not enough memory".
There is no way to increase or improve performances of n-gage or n-gage games as of my experience to non-official compatible n-gage phones. I guess this is the down side of n-gage for other phones. Maybe because almost each phone doesn't have the same hardware/software specification. Be thankful that at first place it works on your phone.
As said before, if you want full performance, go get a real n-gage compatible phone.
The only thing that it could help is do not have any application running on your background. Or applications that are RAM eater. close it, all, if you can before playing. Although when playing "Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep", there's a tip that you could play it turning off the in-game music and playing your own music of your music player. Try it. But as of my experience, still the same performance. Although at some part, it's a little slow. Maybe because I use LCG Jukebox as my music player instead of the official on-phone music player.

All games are runing real Gr8 on my 5700xm. Very smooth with sound on. The thing is that all phones which has a 369mhz cpu or greater r capable of running ngage 2 games smoothly. That's why N73 sucks bec it has a 220mhz cpu. And that's why N73 is showing laggy performance in Ngage2 games.

I don't have any problems playing N-Gage 2.0 games on my Nokia 6120c. The performance is good even if the sound is turned on and the game in landscape mode. Maybe a new firmware update can improve the performance on unsupported phones.

if you guys would have around 19-21 mb or more free before starting the ngage app and game. it won't lag or slow down with everything on.
i always have around 21mb free on my 6110 navigator and all games have been just too smooth..never faced a lag.

As for the N-gage application itself there's no one updated out there at the moment.
Depending on your phone (if you have UDP-User Data Protection in it)
you can in fact download new versions of games from the N-gage website.
You must however remove the previous version of the game from N-gage application before installing the new one.
It's this step that UDP is crucial to have as you then still will have the previous registration data.
I've only tried this an succeeded with my N82 so I can't guarantee that it will work on other devices.

Well......Every N-Gage 2 Game runs very smoothly and without any problem on my 5700XM too. But if there's 15 MB of Ram left, the N-Gage program does'nt even start but if there's about 18 mb of Ram free........Every game that I have download from Here Runs Perfectly with the Sound ON & whether its Portrait or Landscape.

Tasks like blinkingled, btnotifappserver, screensaver, music, camera, gallery, log, contacts, Autolock, multimedialist can be terminated safely. As already said if you screw up a reboot of the phone will set things right.
I am still facing sound lags in Brother in Arms, how about you guys?

The Main Things Here Is That -
Only Certain Phones Are Meant To Play High Ram Requiring Games Eg: N81,N95
Now There Is Nothing That Can Be Done To Make These Games Work Its Just PLainly Because That They Are NOT Meant To Be Played On Those Phones.

Well, all the N-Gage games run perfectly on my N73 ME, I suggest that to run it at its best performance is that you do a HARD RESET, upgrade to latest firmware.
Install N-Gage, HandyTaskman.
Before starting N-Gage, reboot phone and do not do anything. The FIRST application you start is HANDY TASKMAN. (Put it at the active standby)
Kill Music Player to reach about 20 mb of RAM.
Then, either "Lookup and Start" or just add the N-Gage to the Favourites.
This way, when the phone starts up with maximum RAM, only 2 applications are started and the N-Gage can run every game at optimum performance. Don't even go to Menu at the start-up, it takes away approx 0.1 to 0.2 mb of RAM.
Avoid installing too many apps/games.
Hope that helps.

i have installed KILLME app
with this you can close ALL,really ALL processes
but if i click on TERMINATE ALL,i have 20 mb of ram.
thats great !!
but,if i open the ngage games then,i can play without lags and so,but if i close the game, its normal until i am in the ngage app,it says then KERNEC 3 or so..??
i can play normally, but i dont want to damage the ngage app..
should i dont use KILLME?

I totally agree with this, its like people trying to play new PC games on old PC's which need upgrading or even better totally replacing.

I think it's not working.Just tried Pandemonium and working very well.NOTE! You need to delete the Symbian version first in order to install the N-Gage version, else you will get an error.Fifa 09 work very well with this method :
