do you mean you cannot make it work? do the following:

1. check to make sure you installed your sound modules on a v5 msdict viewer becoz only this version supports the sound modules. previous versions will not work with it.

2. check if your msdict viewer v5 is signed.

3. or make sure your phone is hacked.

if you did all three of the above or even just 1 and 3, (you can skip 2 if your phone's already hacked as you do not need to sign any app after that), there should not be a reason why the sound module won't work. it works on any of my english dictionaries installed.

i apologize if you aren't a noob and have already hacked your phone. :)

i've instaled msdict v 5 cracked by illusion on my n95, it works very well with all pdb file and it's sound module is great.
but there is a problem with sound module, i think when i use to hear just one word, after that sound module remains active in it couses to battery decharging.
is there any crack of msdict v5 that doesn't have this problem with battery?
note: if i don't run sound module on it, there isn't any problem with battery

that's not because of the battery,but the sound itself which might drain your battery.
note:is your battery new or old?just check ur battery too.:elf:

Install Illusions cracked view, install 1,2 then3 and I downloaded a english concise dictionary. Sorted!

i'm not going to find problem for it, i have this problem and it bothers me. my battery is not old and befor i install sound module, i didn't have this problem, my battery used to work 3 days whith one charge, but when i use sound module (even for one word listening)and don't exit from msdict(cosice oxford ) it just works for on day,
i do not know what is the problem but i heard it from some other peple too.
maybe the file that i use just has problem

it's not only your problem,this is the problem with the sound file and the dictionary itself.the fault lies with the factory not the crack or sth else.we can't do anything bro.

i am haveing the same problem on the n96

i myself have about 29 msdict dictionaries with 50,000 sound pronunciation bros
no problem at all
as you see my phone is N95,4G ;i've installed them on my MEMORY CARD,nothing slow:)
maybe there are some other unknown reason !!!

I installed the dictionary and it was running very well:D:D:D:D,but the sound files(coes_1_Signed, coes_2_Signed, coes_3_Signed) I could not install them:oops2::oops2::oops2:
After installing the first one, error message appear with a title "file corrupt",installing the second one runs normally, but after installing the last one message appear with a title "cannot install"!!!!!!

please extract the sound module,and put them all in this file:
E/system/apps/msdict/tdicts/octd
that's it.
if you don't have it just create these folders
to extract the sound module ,use SISWARE. :)

I have done what you said but sisware shows "Extraction Error:Buffer to small"

My phone is Nokia E71 with the new firmware 110.07.127 09-10-2008 it is not hacked and can not be hacked for some times;

I down loaded the audio files from the link you specified they are four files
I uploaded the four files to the phone and installed the three coes files ok then tried to install msdict (the fourth file) it gave me update error ; then I signed the viewr you mentioned and uploaded to my phone trying to install it I get update error !!!

one thing I was hoping to get works with WordNet !!!

you said in prev post "go to old version" what you mean by old version? old version of what ? what is the link ?

I pressed C no responce at all ; and the option menu does not include cancel or delete it contains (open , change menu view, remove , move , move to folder , new folder , download applications, memory details, help, exit)

I'm stuck ; if I choose remove and installed WordNet again and then the audio three files then the cr**ked viewer will it works ?

the final decision:

1- application manager/msdict viewer -and delete it and some other dics as well.
2-then you go to check here:e/system/apps/msdict -and delete all

I was able to figure out "2", as you know you don't see system folder unless you are in data transfer mode. I only wanted to delete couple of dictionaries which I did, I like this application and want to keep rest of the dictionaries.

i noticed this is only for concised english dictionary, however im using the english pro dicstion in msdict...

As far as I know the last version of MSDict for Symbian second is v 4.10 and in that version no support for sound...
