I was thinking to upgrade my pc to a mid high range.
here are my current specs

Intel D945 GCNL motherboad,
Intel Pentium D (Dual Core) 3.00 GHz
1Gb Kingston DDR2 RAM @ 667Mhz
Nvida 7600 GT PCI-e 512 Mb @ 400/266
400w PSU
Samsung Optical drive cd,cdr,dvd 52x
2 HD 160 Gb SeaGate 7500RPM.
PLEASE SUGGEST in order
1.CPU
2.MOTHERBOARD
3.GRAPHICS
4.MEMORY RAM
5.PSU
6.OTHER

Upgrade or buying a new one?
I dont see any problem on your specs except the RAM, PSU and Optical Drive which needs upgrade only.

I prefer 8800GT especially it is highly priced :)

Different countries have different supply of motherboard models so its hard to specify for you.
Just go to a Computer Shop then ask the model which applicable to your hardware specification.

1.Intel E6400 2.4 Ghz 800 Mhz FSB for a 150 $
My question is is this processor better than my Pentium D dual core 3.00 Ghz?
2. DG 365 SSCK a good gaming mobo?
