Description
Specialized image viewer for quick access to your most important (screenshot-size) images. No need to go through the menus and select the image to view: Just launch the app and first image is loaded immediately to the screen, the rest in the set are rapidly available using number keys on keypad or the 5-way. Use it for, pictures of your family, maps, reference images / texts - whatever static data you need access quickly without waiting. You can define two 10-image-sets and switch between them.
The application is at its best when used with an screenshot application (like h**p://[Only registered and activated users can see links]) as TTP does not scale the images.
Usage:
There are total of 10 images loaded to the memory at the same time for quick access.
After launching the application, the image which is stored under key "0" is loaded and displayed immediately
Pressing keys 0-9 change the displayed image.
Pressing the 5-way will also change the image. The keys are mapped followingly: up:2, left:4, ok:5, right:6 and down:8.
Pressing #- and *-keys will display the next and previous images.
Pressing left softkey displays the menu
Selecting "Load Image" from the menu will load a new image in place of the image displayed at the moment.
Selecting "Load Set" and number from the menu will load a stored set of images in place of current set (all 10 images are replaced)
Selecting "Save Set" and number from the menu will save the current set of images in either of the stored sets (all 10 images are stored)
Selecting "Start Slideshow" from the menu, will begin advancing the images every three seconds. The slideshow will end by pressing any key.
Pressing the right soft key when the menu is not visiblewill exit the application, as well as selecting Exit from the menu.
Screen backlight is permanently on when the application is running, so you can use this also as "torch".
Tip: for really quick access to your photos, put the TTP to your set of"Active standby applications" or assign it to one of your softkeys
In N95: Menu->Tools->Settings->General->Personalisation->Standby mode->Active standby apps
Notes:
The application is provided as freeware. No source code is available at the moment. Copyright (C) 2007-2008 Simo Huopio.
No redistribution or re-packaging is permitted without written authorization from the author.
Compatibility: Requires a S60 3rd edition phone. Has been tested by the author in Nokia E61i and N95 8GB
Can be installed both in internal memory and to the memory card
The minimum installation takes 111 kilobytes, which includes the default images
Not optimized nor tested for memory or power consumption. E.g. loading full-camera-resolution images can make the application unstable. Leaving TTP in the background will also consume battery rather quickly.
The sets are stored under \Data\Images\TTP\ on installation drive. The images on the loaded set are stored in a private directory.
