This is version 1.00(1) now, some memory leaks were indeed found. We keep monitoring the memory usage of the screensaver now, hopefully it will not cause any more similar problems now. Remember that simply installing a new version over an old one never replaces the running copy of a screensaver, you need to restart the phone for the new version to actually step into action.

volcom883 19th August 2008, 04:25 hi there everybody,
i am using the large clock screensaver application ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). would you be able to tell me if it uses a lot of power? is it worth switching to the application posted here? is there really a big difference in power consumption between these 2 softwares?

Any 3rd party application will drain the battery faster than normal...

gsmdb 20th August 2008, 17:32 Probably still a bug about memory leak. Running BestAlarm or MyAlarm (only one prog. installed at the time) in background, after some while opening the prog. gets the error ... memory full. No probl. with cClock. Running latest ClockSaver v. 1.00(2) on N82

I get the same error too.. memory full when I try to access my alarms... I thought it was something else i installed... the only other app i have running is flipsilent to turn off the alarm...
I'm going to uninstall this app and see if it resolves my memory full error...
The other problem is that when I get that error my alarm settings get wiped too... and I need to put them back in...

jcampx2 22nd August 2008, 03:28 Works great on my N95-4. No memory leaks.
da1nonly 22nd August 2008, 03:59 Works great on my N95-4. No memory leaks.
give it some time... and then slowly you'll see some memory full errors come up... the odd misbehaving application and then you'll also notice longer startup and shutdowns...
it was great for the first week ... then slowly things would pop up here and there... nothing major... just leave the phone on over night with the screen saver on...

Ok we'll see what happens. So far had it about 5 days. We'll keep a watch on it. Thanks
Stiffe 22nd August 2008, 16:07 This is a cool app, but it is very buggy.
It drains the memory so the phone gets unusable after a while.
gsmdb 22nd August 2008, 16:56 You can only get the memory leak when you've som prog. run automatically in background otherwise you can not see/experience the bug.
Using memory monitor w. prog. Active File my phone N82 could not detect the mem. leak either (still shows free mem. > 75MB), but when I activated MyAlarm prog. (because I saw the icon disappeared from Clocksaver after a while) afterwards I got the error.
SkyWraith 28th August 2008, 06:24 Still got memory issues on my N95 8GB, can't access my clock or alarms after a while :(
Other than that, it's awesome :)
milkyjoeedy 29th September 2008, 05:00 instaled on 7710 and work perfect thx
