For those users who have experienced issues with their N-Gage application after achieving 10,000 N-Gage points, we have released this temporary workaround build.

Note: Only install this if you have 10,000 points problem. Else you donot need to install it.

Why shouldn't we install it if we haven't reached 10,000 NGP's? It's just an update of the app (v1.01(1281) vs v1.01(1296))...

Well thats recommended by N-Gage developers to install only if you are having 10,000 points problem. Else you do not need it.

sorry guys, got pretty late on noticing for a new version, it seems that i'm having problems viewing the official website.

am working on repacking it now. bringing you guys good news, cross your fingers. let's just hope i can crack their security, if they have a new one. :LoL:

BTW This version of N-Gage app isn't the officiall release, players can get it from moderators only if they hit 10000 N-Gage points.

Never the less it's still an update, from the moderators as you said.

I will really be waiting for this repacked version by you. But according to Nokia this is just for temporary purpose and will make a new version maybe after the release of N96 and other new supported phones.

So that's why i'm having problems testing it, you have to install it OVER N-Gage 1.01 Build 1281. Not by installing it standalone, that's what I understand on the link that you gave me. So, going back to repack N-Gage 1.01 Build 1281 and Build 1296 to make it work.

Gonna try this out now.

2. Patch to get rid of TRIAL label for games for 1.01.1296 - -=DOWNLOAD=- ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

3. UNIVERSAL root cert for LeftUp and BiNPDA (MobileSigner 1.03 and key included) - -=DOWNLOAD=- ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

It is not necessary to install it over 1281, and as for me repacked version refused to install over repacked 1281, so i uninstalled it and games first (have backuped saves previously).Reinstalling games is not the high price for solving this bug, is it? But you might be lucky one not to reinstall, who knows, make a try! :wave:

All - app and patсhes are signed with LeftUp root cert.

P.S. Do you know how install this OVER 1281 repacked version? Just tell me! :thanks:

well, not working on my N71 though. My girl just got my phone and I have his bro's N80 now. So gonna try it there. If it works, gonna try again to repack it myself.

glibplusssl are some libraries, not needed for n-gage apps rigth now, but may be in future. no need to install 'em. I've added these packages just in case. :)

I doubt N-Gage can normaly run on N71, 'coz I've owned this device for some monthes and can admit extremely LOW RAM level and internal memory... :nod:

nope. it runs smoothly just like in any other UNsupported N-Gage phones. It has 20mb RAM that makes running N-Gage having some 10mb free RAM for other apps to run, but maybe when playing a game. I've runned it smoothly with HO: COTD with music player or LCG Jukebox running. :LoL:

it worked for the n80. but not on my n71. will test again.

Some of my testers also expirienced same problem installing this on N73, but not all. So I still don't know where is the bug....

well, we got to wait for the proper update.

as for me, I think it is caused by some component, preinstalled earlier and running during the installation, and for some reason, this app/process can't be stoped by installer, no matter if there is SH option or not in the script... so don't know...
