The attached zip-archive contains the UK Speed Cameras Database for GARMIN Mobile XT - the 24 June 2008 Update released by PocketGPSWorld. Originally, it was for TomTom and I have converted the files into .GPI to work with GARMIN Mobile XT. I have tested them on my Nokia N73 for both TomTom Navigator 6.02 and GARMIN Mobile XT 4.20.20 and they seems to work just fine. The files are consolidated by type (Gatso,Mobile,etc) and include the .jpeg file for the corresponding camera icons and the original .CVS files for your convenience.
Extract the contents of the archive and copy all of them into the memory card of your device into the POI folder, e.g. E:\Garmin\POI\
Please report any problems and I will try to help as much as I can.

I copied *.gpi files to POI directory for Garmin XT 4.20.00, but the correct icon wasn't display in the map, so I copied there also *.jpg files just to try, not working. I can see grey circle in the map instead of icon. Anybody has the same problem?
With the GPI database from January 2008 it is working fine, except sometimes it reports a speed camera on a place where is just nothing.

I had the same problem, try converting the .jpg files to .bmp files and reload the POIs using the Garmin POI Loader.

I've loaded the files but again the camera images dont show on the map, i've tried changing to bmp files but still not showing. I found a hidden folder in e/garmin.poi which had loads of these images in different files sizes i.e UK_gatso.bmp_320x320, does this have something to do with it?

it is working for me - tested on N73 and N95-1. Try again - hopefully you'll have luck this time.

I had the same problem, try converting the .jpg files to .bmp files and reload the POIs using the Garmin POI Loader.

This topic is about GARMIN speedcams, your "update" link seems to only have TOMTOM files, which dont work with Garmin.
