Copy them into your SD Card into any folder you like. Then use a program like Connection Manager 2 to place a shortcut to the Map My India program file in the Program Files folder of your phone... hope that helps !

I am happy u enjoyed the software, but no need to thank me it was compiled from the software and data available on this forum only, i just tried to change a bit and reloaded it. can you help me i justdownloaded the software withcrack in one file and copied them to storae card in ppc i do not know how to installthe software .can you help.i donot have the software before on my device . it is really a great work to have compiled the entire file......thanks man

Here are the steps to follow.

1.Extract the appllication folder with maps everything except the crack zip and paste that folder in storage card root.
2.Rename the application.exe as application1.exe
3.Extract the crack.exe and put it in the same folder in storage root.
4.Create a shortcut to the cracked.exe in the start menu.
5. click the short cut and your map software will start and will not ask for licence.

This works fine with Portrait mode, no problems there ! Unlike the previous versions posted on the site, this one is designed for the PPC/ WM5/6 devices..
Unfortunately this version does NOT work in landscape mode.. ;) go figure !!

It worked fine until I tried using route direction mode when it blacked out.I had to soft reset my mobile & after that when I launch the program it gives an Error "abort () is called process[Main]" after say 10 to 15 secs.Instead of the arrow on map it shows a figure of a man on the center with circle around.
Any idea why is this error coming.

Could you be a bit more specific, which device you were using, what platform (WM 5/6 /6.1) ? Was your device display in landscape mode or portrait mode ?

Mine is wm6.1.& I used it in portrait mode only.I had a previous version of mapmyindia meant for landscape mode which works perfectly but the maps have become outdated.

Sorry for the delayed reply, was out of town. Had a thought about your problem and the only solution I could come up with is to remove the software completely and re-copy the software on to your SDcard.. Incase the download is corrupted, you could re download the software again from the links above...

- I have HTC P3300 with mapking registered version for mumbai map. The software is currently uninstalled on mobile. If I use this application, will it affect my GPS mechanism or cause any warranty issues? What if, i want to uninstall this and use the mapking authorised one again?

- Is this just a map for india or it comes along with the navigation ?

- is it on paid service or free?

- Will it cause any warranty related issues?

can u pls also tell me how can i install it on wm6. i just started using windows mobile.
i can see one mapindia_nav-cracked type of .exe file.. how to go abt all? i have copied all the files on SDcard just now, am online

i am getting banglore map by default, how can i get the mumbai map. Also how to get the 'my current location'

just copy the cracked exe to the inav_allindia folder and run it. program will ask you if you want to run it say yes,
and
it ill automaticly locate your location and show it on map. if it is showing banglore then go to menu>settings>system>gps diagnostics and see how many satellites are visible. if there are satellites then just go back to main screen and it will automatically locate you in a minute .
if there are not any satellites visible then wait for a few minutes , it will show satellites, but be sure weather is clear there are no clouds. when it connects to satellies then gps icon on main screen turns green.
You need not do anything to change map to mumbai , it will show mumbai automatically once satellites are visible. it usually takes a minute or two to connect on startup , after that it runs perfectly.

In my AsusP320 the comm port is 2 I believe.you will need a hexcode editor to change the file named. GPS_port.For further info check this link

I am new to this forum. Great job done by you there. I have a Touch Cruise and wish to have these navigational maps installed. However when I try to execute the .exe file from the PPC an error " Cannot load Language.ddl" is returned. I have tried reloading after re-downloading but the error still throes up during installation

No there is no setting in MMI.Normally you are expected to use a mobile GPS device with power on by means car charger otherwise you have to make the display always on by changing the backlight setting in systems each time you use MMI & wouldnot want it to go to sleep mode..

installed on my dell axim x51v running WM5. Seems extremely slow esp and has some drawing refresh issue on the bottom half of the screen. Any ideas ?
