I was wondering if there was a 1gb verison of the North American version 8 map ( if so , a link to dl would be appreciated)

I bought a 2gb SD card and where I live there is no 4gb card

The 2gb map version ( which I downloaded) is 1.87gb when my memory card is only 1.77gb =/

There is a NA_2GB 805 map around, that is 1.67Gb.
Main diff is the POI.dat filesize.
Search NA_2GB or NA_Lite

thanks! i did not know a lite version existed for maps

The 'Lite' or 2GB versions are reduced POI.dat filesize to make fit on 2Gb devices (ie. 720, 730)
Full version has larger POI.dat and is for 4Gb models (ie..920, 930) where size is no issue.

Of course, add a large enough SD card and they'll fit any model.
