of course you should have a different date ...by doing this you will get rid of "logon type not granted"message.
why that wasn't the case in previous versions?
because in this build the developer tried his best to make this app very hard to crack so he used some encryption on the license file.

i followed the nfo file. i've done the first 4 things and got the error message when tried to reach my pc from phone. then changed the date back, same problem. then uninstalled and changed date before installing, same problem. but still trying to make it work, hope it will.

just watch some other members who actually used this app before or go read some manuals first
@cred without changing any date you were able to access the phone files from pc?

ohh, forgot the answer ur 2nd question. connect to my pc to reach my files.. have a 500GB winchester in my network loaded with mp3's, series and lot of stuffes so for instance if i just want to listen an mp3 on my phone which is stored on my network winchester, i can simply transfer it to my phone and play it..

yes, the other way so accessing phone files from pc works fine with this release too, it always did, the problem was accessing network from phone.

-when this done program notified this is a trial and u have 14 days left, etc.. now (because so far there isn't any tricks there, its the official trial so if accessing network from from with this not works, it should have been the program's fault) i tried to access the network neighborhood and actually now it worked! after this, exited (shutdown), and done the 3rd and 4th steps: "After registration completed delete
c:\PRIVATE\20002043\20002043_v350.activation" [u will have allfiles hack and Caps On to do this]
"- Install cracked file".
after doing this, started the program, and everything worked still fine and my license is valid till 2060 :)

use x-plore with system view and hellocarbide with that u can acces and delete the file..;)

Works Fine Ive runned the Caps ON file to view the hidden file

runs fine on my n95 8gb too.

for those who want to access network drives from phone:
use build 18 (3.50.18). with this version, this option will only work for 14 days, after that, you will get an error message every time you try to connect, unless u set phone's date every time to a date between install date and install date+14 days.
for those don't need this and want use this app for accessing phone from pc:
use this build, should work perfect.

Go to Control Panel
New > Choose Folder
Do it again for E:\
You will see name "Disk_C" and "Disk_E"

Now From main Menu > Go to Phone
Select the Both Drives > Add shares.
Done!
Hope you won't get that error..;)

i'm sorry, i haven't thought it will cause troubles. actually, i don't see any troubles, any replies there, maybe they were deleted, i don't know.. the purpose of my post would been to prevent further complaining about "why isn't this working while it worked so far?" after 14 days, so i gave a solution in forward.. i really don't wanted any trouble, just wanted to help..if u would like to, i can delete that post.. i just wanted to help.. sorry for this, keep on releasing great stuffs.

I just followed yours guide on how install but after installed it , i just follow what farhazadeeb wrote: i just decided to share c: and e: but the root of them so that you can see their name is called "Disk_C" and "Disk_E" written by SymSMB itself. First time i selected not the rooth of both of them and those names werent on and didnt work.
I mean that i couldnt connect from PC to Cell because i had the same error told by Skarbro. After deleted and reshared c: and e: in that way everythings work without need to change date.

hello friends... really interested in this SymSMB... I tried it in the previous version b18 but i got it not working. i just realize that i ve the problem with my network as it is office's one in which i m joining the domain, not workgroup.
since i ve n82 like the man - Illusion. i just wondering if this SymSMB will work on the domain? or how can i trick my office laptop (as in the domain) to have share file with my n82? pls help me out!

My license says Begin Date: 03/09/2008, so I set my phone to date: 17/09/2008 ... first I got "Not Ready" when selecting the wireless network connection then when I tried it again I get "Login type not granted". What am I doing wrong?

Yes, you could. I do it all the time :D, set-up Ad-hoc first on ur laptop, and select it in the access point (if you haven't set it up yet, just select easy-wlan in the symsmb and find your defined ad-hoc. Workin flawlessly here..:LoL:

if you want to access phone from pc only just do this
- Install symsmb_s60_v350_22_hng.sis
- Install cracked file
but access pc from phone won't work

Had to add a step to the instructions to get this to work for me.

Since my IMEI was already registered at Telexy from an earlier tryout, the app told me the free trial license I downloaded in step two was outdated. At first I just ignored this and went on installing the cracked version, and everything seemed fine. Though when trying to connect from my pc, the old problem from the earlier release reappeared and the connection was refused.

The solution was to check the license date in the cracked app -- uninstall symsmb -- set the date of the phone some days into the old trial period (just add a day or two to the beginning date) -- and then reinstall following the steps in the nfo, now getting a valid trial license in step 2 -- finally setting the date back to the present.

After that everything seems to work just fine (didn't try connecting from phone though).

I just want to confirm if anyone of you have experienced the 14-day trial bug?

I installed this build on Sept. 14. It worked great with the cracked and all. But today, (Oct. 1), when I tried to use it to access my files in my NAS, it would no longer work - I always get a "wrong username and password" - which also manifested in the cracked build 18.

I did a reinstall of build 22 - no dice.....

I went back to Illusion's build 18 and all works again!

What I did to validate:
-From build 22 installed on September 14th, I downgraded today to Build 18 on my Nokia e61i = Works! I can access both my PC and phone files.

-Build 22 was installed on September 14th in my Nokia e71 = gets the invalid username or password.


In build 18 a reinstall of Illusion's cracked installer would fix the "invalid username/password". but in this build (22) after re-installing and going through the crack process, it will not work. I figured keeping build 18 for now until Illusion get's to crack version 4 :)
