Hello!
I've decided that you guys are awesome, and are probably the grandfathers of all knowledge, so here's hoping that you can help me.
I have a dead Nokia 6086, and I tried to use Phoenix to revive it. Everything works smoothly until the very end. When the program attempts to make the final connection with the phone, it times out.
I used the latest all-in-one release from Phoenix Slayer. The installation is 100% clean. I even reformatted my harddrive so that I could ensure everything was pristine before I started.
The only possible problem I could think of is that this phone is RM-260, but I could not find the flash files for RM-260 anywhere, so I used RM-188. I was told from various sources that this would work. Update: I finally found RM-260 and used it. The exact same error occurs. Update 2: I noticed that when it gets to "Rebooting to Normal Mode" the audible tone that means "usb disconnected" goes off. When I push the power button on the phone the tone for "usb connected" goes off, but is closely followed by the disconnect tone.
