Network Ping application for S60v3.
This app is unsigned, to install on handset first it needed to be signed
or used hacked phone.

Another suggestion - can it be possible to have a parameter of pings count and set continuous pinging (it can be handy for network diagnostics etc.)?

u can try it at windows by going to
start>run>type in 'cmd'> type in 'ping google.com'
and if the connection receive a reply, u have contact \:D/

It needed NetworkControl, NetworkServices, so if your certificate has it, it will not crash other wise it will not run.

or you need to hack your handset with caps off.

These are the capabilities for signing the application.
of course you will need network connection to use ping application other wise why will you use this.

you need to sign this application using a certificate before installing on handset, and certificate need these capabilities so that you can install this on handset.
