Via Spaziocellulare, there is a new firmware 30.0.018 update for the Nokia N95 8Gb on the way. Looks like there are some improvement to Flash Lite, “Baseline update for Flash Lite 3 (improved viewing of sites like YouTube)”.

Hopefully they removed the security feature from the standalone player!

New features:- Maps 2.0 (e.g. Pedestrian navigation, Traffic info, Multimedia city guides, satellite imagery)
- Full N-Gage
- Nokia Search 4.0 with Google plug-in
- Share on Ovi
- Enablers for “Comes With Music”
- Mosh & Ovi Bookmarks added to Browser

any news about the fp2 effects as they did with the n81 new firmware ?!?!

I was just searching for V30 the other day and it's here!! :-)
But from what i'm hearing there is No FP2 transitions and menu effects :-(
Can any1 confirm?
Is the update available for N95-4 NAM RM-421?
If so is it worth the upgrade from v21? If there are no FP2 effects, or something exciting, not in the v21 than it's not my cup of coffee... :-)

just flashed the EURO version to the phone and seems to work OK
next step is to hack the phone.

Firmware successfully hacked. Used same version of HelloCarbide as with previous firmware.

Already downloaded the package, since i'm new at this what oher programs are necessary to flash the bios? phoenix? how it works and where can i get that prog? Do i have to remove all other nokia programs like pc suite or just some(possible hw conflicts etc)? and to put it to work what kind of connection should i use to link with the cpu pc suite, data transfer?

Can give me a quick few tips how the process is made (im sure others in this forum are having the same questions)? or just send a pm with that info.

Update is nOw available via NSU :) !! i downloaded it and it worth to download ;) the music player is awesomly stable !! as well as the auto rotation senistivity & reactivity are so high

using the carbide applications and copying the files "CprofDriver_sisx.ldd" & "install server.exe" into C:/Sys/BIN

it's the easiest hack ever :D and am know able to install unsigned applications ;)

Yup, carbide is the most convinient way.. im already using this firmware and successfuly hacked.. no problems so far :D

Only thing bro is everytime i restart my phone "installing" always appear.. im not sure if its because of the carbide hack.. but its not a big deal just kinda anoying sometimes.. have you experienced this?

yea !! this happens to me since the v20.0.016 !! evry time i restart the phone !! or unplug the Usb from the phone when i use data trannsfer mode !!
it tells me installing.........
then at last says !! untrusted software !! or un installes applications ! check ur apps manager !!

try not to install any unsigned applications on the mass mem. !!! install them on the phone mem.
leave the mass mem. for the java, and trusted signed symbian applications !!

Very simple bro.. Just run your NSU but be sure that you have a working NSU and i must prefer an XP OS because NSU is not yet stable on Vista.. just follow instructions on the screen.. It will be done in 30mins, gudluck :good2:
P.S. dont forget to formatt your mass memory and change the profile to general and charger plugged to ensure battery will not ran out within update.. last thing is simcard must be inserted

you must format bro so that you will have no problem on the applications that will automaticaly install at your first start with the updated firmware.. anyway most appplications that were in your mmc will not run anymore due to the clean drive c
