Our Crazyyen reportsover at our forum section that Nokia has released a new firmware version for Nokia N95-1.

Firmware v30.0.015 is available through the Nokia Software Updater for most of the generic product codes and will be available progressively in the next few days at the official Nokia Points and Nokia Service Points.

So in case you are not familiar with NSU or your connection is too slow for the huge firmware package (120 MB) you will be able to get the latest update at your local Nokia service point as well.

As usually, this release should improve the Nokia N95-1 performance as well as fix known bugs and problems from previous versions and brings some more than welcome improvements like; i increased start-up speed, share online feature, auto screen rotation, slightly different icon pack, latest version of the Nokia Maps application and maybe the most important, YES it can be hacked!

I would like to give you a little bit more information about new release but I still trying to get the change log for this update as well as for the unofficially leaked update for Nokia N95 8GB

this version nice but theres 2 things problem when call if he not answerd when to finish call the red key not pressed
2 when call if no coverge the system will long to go menu

has anyone tested nokia maps hacked ?
thats the only thing im concerned about...

I have al lot of problems after this firmware update. My phone is not hacked. i can't reinstall "coreplayer" signed with genialsis. worked fine before the update. Some other applications don't work anymore, too.

im guessing all the other ppl like me r jus waiting for a few ppl to try out the new update ( who we appreciate btw ) and give out a better understanding of its running

The handset it a factory unlocked sim free handset with generic software & I had no problems updating the software for the last update.

Any ideas anyone ??

yes this firmware is hackable... all haks and mods works...
but binpda method... use rom patcher... or other methods...

user data preservation: absent;

castor UI : no....

asr: yes, but response time is very slow....

batter time is optimized....... and increased.....

general stability is pretty good....
i will rank this firmware as good compared to V20.*
it worth upgrading.....
at first hacks seems difficult.....
but it is not.......
binPda certificates are not working any more.....
so no sign with binPda.......

I had the same problem, tried a soft reset but it had no effect, in the end the good old 3 finger salute fixed it.

Just Updated From V.10 to V.30...

Its Awesome.. 100.99% worth in Upgrading to V.30..

I used Hellocarbide to hack my mob just as i did while using V.10..
