can we flash n95 rm 245 (china version) with firmware n95 rm 159 (apac version)?
coz when i flashed the phone become nokia logo only..
does anyone can tell me what shoul i do then? and give some trick to be able to flash with rm 159 fw?
coq, i don/t have fw rm 245, and whenever i try to d/l from jaf site, the d/l progress is too slow..

i tried flashing my RM-160 (n95-3) to a RM-159 (n95-1) but that failed. it also only comes to the nokia screen (without backlight) and dies. the only way i could get it restored was to get it re-flashed from a nokia service center.

later i realized it was because the hardware on both of these phones were ENTIRELY different from each other. As for your situation, i am guessing RM-245 has different hardware than the RM-159 (wireless missing right?) so...i dont think you should be able to flash rm-245 in to an rm-159.
