I need help getting my GPS to work on my HTC Touch Diamond, its stock right out of the box only 2 days old, and i cant seem to get it to work.

A friend of mine has just recieved a large number of HTC PDA's with sat nav built in but the Storage cards were all faulty! When he phoned his supplier they were doing a factory recall on the memory cards, it might be an idea to phone them with your card type at hand and check to see if your's is one of the faulty batch!

Post some more details please, what version are you trying to use.
Try this plugin from HTC, lets check if this software is catching the satellites, try either COM 4 or COM 1, make sure you test it directly under the sky because theses days the double glazing windows are dodgy for GPS. Normally it takes on my Diamond 1-3 minutes to catch the GPS connections because of the cold start.

------ Open the attached file through WinRAR (may be Winzip), copy the CAB file to your device and from the device run the cab to install the software. Then goto start->program->HTC GPS Tool --------
