The SD card that came with this 7" model broke in half. can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to start. i have a blank 1GB card to use but not sure how to start.I need north America:ashamed::ashamed: or just the US map.

I have a 3,5'' Invion- so I can copy what you need . But Cosmicsoft that come with Invion is crap.
If you want I can give you Tomtom or MioMam or Garmin or Sigic .....
All of then work -with no problems

I would really appreciate anything that would work, TT is good. Also i would rather go with whichever is easier so I'm leaving this to you.You can upload to RS if you want. just let me know please.

So you have TT now - Dutchboy links .
For navi in NA I recommend Garmin - I compared Garmin,TT and Sigic- my opinion is that Garmin have -let say around 15% more accurate maps with compare with rest.

I tried the TT and Garmin files but all the unit does is beep and flash the Invion screen and stops flashing when i remove the SD card.I'm i supposed to do something with the files before copying them to the card?

I noticed that alot of you are talking about Wince, is Invion using wince OS? and how do we know?

Ooo - just say that you a real beginner…..
So I will try with some words to explain:
In original SD card -soft is so written that when you ON it going direct to navi application. To be possible to use other applications must be used something else that original soft.
On SD cart it is put one file that start another application - it execute a script .
I will give you a my script and everything else so that you can see Windows screen- but you must edit it –depend where are your files , etc.
Put your Sd Card in card reader-forma it full-fat32
Unpack zip file in root of SD card ,copy navi soft that you will use ,modify script or not - it is according your choice.

yes I'm:thanks: a beginner and i will need more help until i figure this out. the data from your SD card does the same thing as before, it flashed the screen and beeps.you mention that i may need to edit a file but I'm not sure which file and how.
I know that newbies could be a pain to deal with but i hope that you can understand what we have to go through until we have a couple of these tasks under our belt.
