No offence but he is right and it would be benefical to new Os9 users to know that at this time our phones are not susceptible to malicious software.
To see many influential IpMart members thanking 'for this useful software' gives the impression that it is needed . . it isn't.

I live in democratic country and we always appreciate and encourage people to express their views, even he they are critical. I don't depriciate the work of the author me this post. i'm just expressing my opinion. And remember- NONE OPINION IS USELES SPAMMING, as far as it introduces some useful information. And my info is: there's no virus for our beloved symbian platform. So You won't be able to shut my mouth just because you disagree with my opinion. Don't even try! ;)

With our phone hacked, we are now open to virus attack and I believe the existence of virus for s60 v3 is only a matter of time... and this has been long discussed.

and why bother mods with my opinion, while I address it to You?
The only thing the mods may have an objection to is that we went offtopic. Forgive us, dear mods!!
You said to stop this discussion first. Though I have more arguments... But If You wish so... Then your wish is my command... ;)
Ps. Never criticize the fact of expressing an opinion, concentrate rather on finding contrarguments for this...

Well, it depends. S60v3 9.x is hacked. You never know. ;)
so until that time we are safe to use our phone without AV . . even more so if we only download from reputable sources . . and there is no more reputable source than IpMart so that makes us all doubly safe :dance2:

The middle screen in first post (of this thread) shows exoVirusStop 3.00.001; the one in the other thread shows exoVirusStop 1.01.016.1, so I guess this one is newer.
gkataria can you help with this? Should I update the thread title?
EDIT: According to gkataria all info is correct.
