As the title suggests i'm now on to my 6th replacement handset of the N95, and the same problem keeps occurring, it won't allow me to send text messages!!! The warning message tells me to close down all other applications, however, i do not have any others open! Can anyone help?? Is there a solution other than chucking it????

Im having the exact problem after my last two firmware updates.Im at the point of taking it back to nokia for them to look at it.
Im worried as the error comes up intermitantly and not sure how it originates, so i hope when they look at it they can re-:holdit:enact the problem.

People lets start a new thread about this issue, i am 90% certain its due to teh firmware update, please post if you have this problem.Nokia need to resolve this issue!

I have had the same problems. I have read countless forums. I finally figured out what it is. IT IS THE SIM CARD. They are simply not able to handle the phone. Get the newest SIM your carrier can get you, and try it. You should be able to text. If it stops again, remove the SIM and put it back in, should work.
