Description:
Imagining if you have an ant crawling at the background of your phone screen, or maybe a butterfly dancing vividly in animation, isn’t it acool thing to wow your friends who have only dull backgrounds with only pictures? Well, you neither need to create any fancy thems nor need tospend hours browsing through the internet for nice themes. Note that this freeware by the3sky is not similar to the animated themes that you used to install on your phone, which will suck up most of your phone’sRAM and battery. But with this simple application (thanks to the3sky again), you can change the
animated object easily just with yourfavourite .gif file that suits the background of your wallpaper. Now,you can wave your hand and say GOODBYE to those dull and lifelessbackground.
If you want to add your own animations, copy the .gif file to C:\Data\Animsprite. Rename your image to “Sprite” before copying and you will see your own animated image on the standby screen of your phone.
Update:
Now available in Nokia 5800 XpressMusic
Languages:
English(UK), Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese(TW), Traditional Chinese(HK)
The file is already signed by OPDA's Rootcert.

Cigla tel. 1st November 2008, 16:10 Apps for united Symbian OS platforms UIQ & S60 -> S60v5 Symbian OS(Nokia 5800) for high-resolution display are welcome ...!:)
I have remark just on the "old exceeded look" of the AnimSprite S60v5 version interface judging by posted picture.
It can be better, something like JoikuSpot S60v5 interface.;)

gwegdabest 2nd January 2009, 23:11 I know that i had to install Psiloc crystal Chinese in order to use Animsprite v2.3.3 (s60v3) cause my phone had to understand chinese language even if this app is in english.
Perhaps it's the samething for this version...
(you will find psyloc crystal chinese in da forum...)
candymut 21st March 2009, 23:37 Re the poster who stated ""'Application may not be compatible with the phone'."" most apps say this its just the way nokia wants its apps used and not a 3rd partys apps....everyone gets this message but over time i have found that you yourself can experiment with the app and install the app as it will be quicker than asking others to do it for you .....go on make the final step as many in this forum do and it might work or might srew your phone up ...but i do not think you can break it....hope that helps you
myakove 22nd March 2009, 12:38 When i try to run i get "feature not supported"
any help
thanks
candymut 5th February 2010, 02:33 I have downloaded the file and installed the app on my Memory card, the warning of "not compatible with the phone" most apps indicate this but just ignore this then install the app. When you go to the app ( a snail icon) just click the icon then your phone will say "feature not supported" then simply look on your home screen and you will see snoopy jumping up and down in the left hand corner of your screen.
Phone=Nokia 5800
firmware V40.0.005
This app must work on your phone as i have done it and i am not the greatest of app installer on the planet
hughmac 5th February 2010, 23:58 Great fun, but cannot find a settings menu to move or resize the gif - Nokia 5800
The cfg files from the other thread don't appear to help at all
Cheers :)

rahmat97 6th February 2010, 01:51 Working nice on 5800 fw.40, don't know how to move the annimation on screen.
TheTool 6th February 2010, 06:46 There is already version 2.34 ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) that works on 5800 without any errors.
Thing is that it gets on top of the homescreen, so I ain't using it.
