When you say that doing this will revert the phone to factory defaults.

Does that mean the phone s/w will then be non provider specific?

I have purchased a J700 locked to vodaphone, which I unlocked using details found somewhere on the net.

This worked fine and any sim card can now be used, but the phone still has the vodaphone firmware.

Is there any way to remove that to a non provider firmware or I would not mind if it was changed to O2 firmware as that is the sim card I now use on it.
