Recently my mic just stopped working. it works in conversations(the other party can hear me), but not when recording a video or sound clip. However it worked before. I double checked everything I could think of. Turned off silent mode, turned on mic in settings when recording a video, set all the volume sliders to max. Everything worked until I installed Monster Bass v2 so I think it could be related, but no one has posted a similar problem in that thread. I'll restore the backup later to rule out the possibility of monster bass messing the thing up, but until then, does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?

I had a same problem.
I installed SWmail sound mode. And there was some bug in that but he correct it in the new one.

@eyjey: wouldn't updating the firmware reset monster bass also? I'd much rather keep monster bass then the have mic working. thanks anyway

@morpheus: but wouldn't SWmail sound mode overwrite monster bass? or in the worst case cause some sort of conflict?
