Thnx for the great post! Is it possible to integrate the dutch voice? And is version 7 able to show speedcams? Missed it a lot in version 6.7. And did they improve the routing, compared to version 6? Too many questions....I know. Thnx again!

Working fine on my N95-1 (at home) will test better tomorrow on the road, download uk trail pack from navigon website as per instructions (280mb, fast connection, i got 800kbs). Link in first post goes to german site i think, i used google to translate it then downloaded the british isles version from the try & buy icon near the top. there are plenty of other countries there to.
You still need to subscribe to recieve speed cam updates.
I think traffic is still available, well it didnt say i had to subscribe lets put it that way, although it did'nt have any updates for me at home right now.
Showing all local places well, garages, banks, cashpoints, sports centres etc..
Not to sure if theres that much difference to previous version, will post more when i played with it a bit.
You will need to uninstall all old versions and delete all navigon folders on c & e drives or u will get update errors.
I have uploaded the english version to :ilove: cos easyshare or whoever it was suck bigtime, 5 bloody times i had to wait 460 seconds :LoL:

I wonder if you can use the new maps from the trial pack with the older cracked version, now that would be cool, think i better try it and see. Will let u know bout that to!

Just one sis file install i put mine on c but i think it will work fine on e, then put your map from the trial .exe you should hav downloaded from navigon site (open exe and it will exract to same folder it's in) just map into e/navigon/maps and thats it!

The page is in German and nothing looks like it says "Maps" to me. I see now you updated it with more info, but only Europe maps are on that page. I went to the navigon USA site and can't find the Symbian software, and the only maps shown cost money.

What I really mean: are maps free? Need to be unlocked? what regions other than Europe? Americas, Asia etc. with most other satnav the maps are the difficult part to find & unlock. Thanks.

i cannot see any trail version , i had V7 installed , un installed it , installed V7.2 , there is no trail , i already had the maps installed from V7, i move the date forward to 10/2009 , asks for activation key

Thanks for this release, but why not extend trial period for longer time, i.e. year 2100 or so? Yes, I know there will be new releases in the future which all of us will use :-), so 2010 should be long enough...but anyway...this one still feels as being time-limited during my life :urtheman:

Stupid that the symbian version misses out on options like text-to-speech and speedcams, like in the PDA version. Looks like they focus on windows mobile...... :(

I try to sign file with root sign but I receive certificate error. Any suggestion what I do wrong? Or any other way how you sign this file

Works like a charm on my E71.

If you have installed MN v7.1.004 (Teknolux) you have to uninstall this version, update is not possible.

WORKED fine on my E71. After setting the date a few years into the future and put it back, it does not work anymore and the program switched to the trail version for which you have connect to the internet, etc. Uninstall and reinstall doens not work too. I switched back to v7.1.0004.

anyway i tried the modded testmode.ini of 6.7.2 version (modded to work until 2019) and seems to work. but i cant be sure if it works until 2019.. i tell you then. :)

This is how i got Navigon US maps :

1.Download hxxp://navigon.vo.llnwd.net/o25/u/us/update/1.2/win/NAVIGON_7100_Updater_Version_1.2.exe
2.Install on empty SD card or USB stick, min 2GB.
3.Copy *.map files from there to your phone SD:/Navigon/maps
4.Enjoy !!!

If You start install, u need to wait , this is almost 2GB exe and it takes windows installer long time to unpack to temp folder.

I am using italy map and when i select country it doesn't appear italy only vatican state but i am using italy map or not? And the streets??

Instead the italy graphics map show my street's home but in the search menu none??

Bruv on the search page, top right is a country icon, click on it and change it to your country.

As far as i can see there is no speedcam data at all, i believe u have to subscibe to speedcams to get any data from them at all.

Just been out running it , all is working well but i did notice it can be a little slow at times.
Seems to show loads more places on this version.

U need to install that cos it's the trial thats been modded so u can use it till 2010
If u install the one from navigon site it is a very limited trial 14 days or something.
Uninstall everything from ur phone delete navigon folders in phone and card.
Self sign the file from here ( search on here for self sign and u'll find instructions and a certificate, i really don't know anymore about it i've never done it, i hack it's so simple now, not damaging in anyway and fully removable, on my n95 anyway, i know nothing about ur phone bruv but as long as it's not one of the latest nokia symbian phones (not hackable) u'll be fine, but is up 2 u. Then install it on ur phone and put the map in the navigon/maps folder on ur card (i did mine with the cable in data transfer mode, but u can do it anyway u like, thats it bruv.

Try installing on a fresh boot bruv.

You need to wait , this is almost 2GB exe and it takes windows installer long time to unpack to temp folder. Remember , u can install this only on removable drive(usb drive or some card).Ignore all warnings. Minimum 2GB and it's not enough for all files but enough to have *.map files installed. As long as *.map files are installed u done and can pull the plug. Only what U need from there later is *.map files.

Don't know do u have to have removable drive connected before or not, anyway connect removable drive , run exe , wait, wait and install. It is WORKING on vista !

OK i finally managed to install.thanks!now i have these maps u said too.i also has some pois for these countries.do these work on symbian?

Finally gave this a good run today and it was awful for me, could not keep up with me at all, screen kept freezing telling me to turn 100m past the junction.
I eventually pulled over and shut it down & started nokia maps no problem with it at all so was'nt the phone.
I have an N95-1, anyone else having any problems like this?
The older version on here worked fine.
I'm gunna go back tó the old version now and see if the new maps from the navigon site work with it.

Downloaded both the Europa and the DACH exes and both archives seem to be corrupt. Tried it 2 times for both maps and got crc-errors all the time.

i´ve been using NM7 and i like it so much! problem is that i´d like to deactivate pois integration on map as it can slow navigation, but from program interface is not possible. do you know if poi-warner can be downloaded and does it support NM7?? or is there any trick to deactivate pois?
hope anyone can help me. more users who own Nokia E65 has noticed it has sometimes a lag?

It's not working on Nokia N82 and Nokia E50 - I get error (wrong certificate). Both phones have online checking of certificate disabled and allowed to install all types of sotware. Strange, Garmin Mobile and Sygic works OK on those phones...

I installed GULF_STATES to my SD card, got the application in app manager, installed completely....but i dont see any icon of this app MN-7...when i explored i can see NAVIGON folder with map inside...

Had the same problem, never worked for me.
Try not to extract it by double click, try to open the file with winrar or another zip app and extract it manually.

If this also doesn't work, maybe the DACH-map is an option for you?

Hmmm....just set date one year ahead (December 2009) ....and Navigon starts asking for activate trial version, while trial was extended to 2010. Installed the program again and tried to reproduce message. No luck. I hope I'll keep it that way.

Yes I forgot to create "maps" folder, "sorry"
Install and then Create in "Navigon" folder on your memory card the folder "Maps". Then copy the maps to E:\Navigon\maps

Dude, I'm not sure if you can use the PNA maps on a Symbian platform. You can try, but I'm afraid you cannot. And I can't find a US map for Symbian right now. Never saw it before...

Installed on my N95 and and downloaded the Q4 2008 maps from Naivgon and installed the program sis and maps on a 4GB SD chip with no problems. I did a short navigation test and the english voice is very precise to location, speed limits, but you have to pay for the speed radar information/Traffic information, other then that everything else work so far with no problem, by the way you can use the address book contacts to add destinations also which you don't have to type the information in and I like that very much. I have installed the version on my samsung i550, with Q3 Iberia maps, as imdicated in this post.
it is slow to startup find - to find his current position -, i can not put the portuguese sounds to work or any other - stays mute - and after a few minutes the phone reboots itself - something that also happenned when i installed and try the Garmin XT 5.0.10

I have in the same phone copilot 7 with iberia maps. he works fine, its fast and good for me.

Any ideas ?

What about POIs like Speedcams? Does it work?

Works on my N82 v20 after using Rootsign. Using maps from 7100 v1.2 update and everything seems fine (with the exception of old maps). If someone finds newer USA & Canada maps please let me know.

UPDATE: I found this other thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) in PPCWarez that has Q3 2008 USA Maps but they don't seem to be working with my setup. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks for the great download. I've added the French map from the German site. I've one problem: when I'm using search and entering "Paris" MN 7 says it can't find it. When I enter " Par" it displays a list that looks like Iberian cities. Can somebody help?

P.S. Is it OK that MN6.5 doesn't open the maps from MN7?

I have downloaded the trial from navigon website and followed instructions to install it to SD CARD.

It says that the installation process should automatically start once you put the SD Card back into your device. but it doesn't. i have gone into file manager and there are no sis files that i can open to start the installation either.

No worries, I have the problem too. You need to turn off the internal GPS in the phone, which cannot be done in Navigon. Only then Navigon will activate the search for a bluetooth GPS. Currently, Navigon is not capable of working with both internal GPS and bluetooth GPS simultaneously. Only one at a time.

I installed v7.4.0013 and use the maps of Q4 2008 on my Nokia 6120c. I haven't noticed any changes with respect to v7.2.0057, besides that in v7.4.0013 after changing the view to 3D it switches sometimes to 2D and back. Haven't noticed this in 7.2.0057. Anyone else with the same experience? Is this a bug?

by the way the new europe map has except from the .map file one .m01 file. what is this? is it recognized from symbian navigon?

I guess, the europe map is larger than 2gb. So it has to be split of in two parts because symbian can't handle files larger than 2gb.
