Answer 1: This is the biggest advantage as it removes the dependencies on fonts. In a font system the same fonts are required at composing handsets as well on receiving handsets.
Question 2: What do I do if a message showing 'message sending failed' has appeared after clicking send or after pressing send?
Answer 2: In this situation, please check following
i. Please check availability of network.
ii. Please check message center number.
iii. Please check activation of your SIM card.
Question 3: Why do I sometimes get dots and dashes in the received message?
Answer 3: Dots and dashes may appear in the received message because of the some handsets may not be able to display extreme curves in a smaller area as required by language character in the message content.
Question 4: Why do I get these messages " Message cannot be displayed" or "Missing text"?
Answer 4: These are error messages and appear in following situations.
i. Picture message is a multi-part message. On non-receipt of even a one part of multiple constituents, the message cannot be displayed by handset and hence above error message will appear.
ii. Some handsets may not realize completely a multi-part picture message and hence the above error message will be displayed.
Question 5: I have received multiple picture messages where words are not truncated properly.
Answer 5: Truncation of words is an intricate & voluminous process and is currently not supported. However, Geneva will definitely provide this feature in the future versions.
Question 6: Even after entering the recipient's number and clicking send, the recipient number inbox is being displayed. Do I have to enter the number again?
Answer 6: No. There is a delay after clicking send, for the screen to get refreshed. This delay is dependent on the speed of the system.
