Hi!

I have THOMSON TG585v7 router and a NetGear WGT624v4 routerl. How do I configure my Thomson router to get an Internet connection from the Netgear router?

My goal is to connect my DSL connection to my NetGear router, and have wired computers and wifi enabled computers connect to it. Thomson will be getting internet connection from Netgear router, and mobile devices will be connecting to Thomson.

I cannot connect my DSL connection directly to Thomson because it only accepts ADSL, I have a different Internet connection, and uses a different connector. So connecting my Internet to the Thomson router is not an option.

The reason I'd like to do this is that the Netgear router restarts every time a mobile device (nokia e90, psp, sony-ericsson p1i) connects to the router, while a wired computer is turned on.

Please help!

Thanks,

i've solved my problem. i simply turned off the DHCP Server on the thomson router, and connected it to the ethernet port of my netgear router.

the reason why i turned it off on the thomson is because the internet connection is supplied through the netgear.
