Just dont tell them that you drop it and hope it is not physically visible :) or else definitely warranty will be void.

U drop it? Hmm... If you lucky maybe can claim warranty. If not!? They take it as human force. Maybe can't claim. Wish you good luck

Thanks Myk & Simon for ur advices...

I enquired for the Warranty Claim in the Local area which i got it from the link they informed that they undertake only Laptops for Servicing and warranty Claims..

The Shop where i bought are ready to exchange but fortunately the shop is in Kuwait and im in India and moreover i dont know where i put my invoice..

hoping for the best

Cheers

1st solution, carefully drop the HD from about 10 cm orizontally on floor or table try if this works, normally it does. Be careful not to bang it :D

2nd solution, put it in a freezer for 10-15 mins and then try it.

I hope one of these work, i read it in a forum couple of years ago and the replies were all positive

Dear bello,

Positive reply???
Here negative reply for you.
If like this drop the reader (something like a pin) sure will break into 2 and have bad sector already.
And what use put in freezer???

yeah, right
and after freezing it, put it in an oven to heat it up to 500 degrees or so
maybe that helps:pmpl:

if toshiba wont help your out of luck & buy a new one
