View Full Version : HTC Touch Diamond and TomTom Navigator 7.450 (9030)
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 19:01 I have several videos where they explain how to use downloaded TomTom maps. This is in 'TomTom7.Map.Registration.How.To.iNTERNAL-***'.
Film1: How to look up 'Device number', 'App number (also known navcore / operation system)', 'Map number'.
Film2: How to make a backup of the TomTom with WinRar. I do not think this also for the Navigator.
Film3: How to keygen a map.
Film4: How to put a new 'Navcore' on the TomTom. Also not for the Navigator because it don't use Navcore, correct?
My details are:
Device number: ********** (Not wise to post them?)
App Number: 7450 (9030)
Map number: 'Eindhoven' v715.1732 (free download)
So if I 'RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd' I am doing the following:
Enter 1,2 or 3 for your Choice, Standard is 1
1. Run it for Version PDA7.451, 7.910; 7.900, 8.010 and higher
2. Run it for all other Version 7 up to 8.002
3. Run it for Map 6
1-3 :2
Enter 1,2,3 for your Choice, Standard is 1
1. Run Keygen for all Maps at your TTDevice
2. Run ttsystem Patcher
3. Search Home dlls and patch each dll
1-3 :1
Available Drives:
D:\
E:\
G:\
Enter Driveletter of TT Devicestorage :g, because this is the phone in 'DiskDrive-mode'.

Used DeviceID from ttnavigator.bif = **********
Used Option 2 you need also a patched TTsystem / TomTom Navigator.exe !
Push a button to continue. . .And then the window closed.
The program tells to patch the 'TomTom Navigator.exe'. Navigator doesn't have the TTsystem, right? So I do the following:
Enter 1,2 or 3 for your Choice, Standard is 1
1. Run it for Version PDA7.451, 7.910; 7.900, 8.010 and higher
2. Run it for all other Version 7 up to 8.002

Enter Driveletter of TT Devicestorage :g
File missing
Push a button to continue. . .
And then I push a button and the window closes, without patching anything.
The map of the Benelux is still not working. What am I doing wrong:confused:
TTuser 4th November 2008, 19:15
remove space from G:\My Documents\Eindhoven\
there is no key available for Eindhoven, you need to create first the key with runmeformetakey
add then the key from new meta.txt to the big old meta.txt in folder progs
copy your tomtom navigator.exe to insert_meta_....here
rename it, remove space in filename
start rumefor(auto) or dct
it should then patch the exe, you can then close the windows with X, you need not to use any Option, you need then to unsign and rename back it or you cant run it, or you use a already patched exe
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 19:59 I am trying to get it working for two days now, pfff. I have a legal version of TomTom Navigator. It was preinstalled on my Htc Touch Diamond Vodafone Branded. The Eindhoven map is also a free map. Are this the things I need to do?
1. Remove space form My Documents.
2. Copy Navigator.exe from the Phone to the PC, and put it in map insert_meta_from_Map_here.
3. Run RunMeforDCT.cmd.
4. Rename the file to Navigator.exe and copy it back on the Phone.
This is the good way to patch a legal TomTom Navigator?
TTuser 4th November 2008, 20:13 1. it can not create a .dct for maps with space in path, you should later rename it back (or you use manually way with runmefordct and copy .meta+.pna to insert_meta...copy then only .dct back to Mapfolder)
2. +rename, remove space or it cant patch it
3. Run RunMeforDCT.cmd. or the automatic, both do the same
4. + remove the then broken Signature or it works also not more
easier you use a already patched, removed sig .exe
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 20:25 1. I copied TomTom Navigator.exe from my Phone to my PC in the map insert_meta_from_Map_here
2. I renamed the TomTom Navigator.exe to TomTomNavigator.exe
3. I run RunMeforDCT.cmd and patch the executable.
No "Mapname"*.meta inside "insert_meta_from_Map_here" Folder
No Fake meta.txt Check possible without *.pna in insert_meta_from_Map_here
Explanation:
OK = now patched
Cant find = already patched
Can't open * for reading = remove space from name
Patch now:
OK!
TomTomNavigator.exe
Enter 1,2 or 3 for your Choice, Standard is 1

2. Run it for Navcore 7 up to 8.002
3. Run it for Map 6
1-3 :
4. Rename TomTomNavigator.exe back to TomTom Navigator.exe.
5. Copy the file back to the Phone.
Patching complete? Because then I can continue trying to use the maps...
TTuser 4th November 2008, 20:32 yes patch is OK
your htc should now swear about broken sig
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 20:51 What doe you meen with the last sentence. I am from Holland so I am not speaking English very wel :sorry:

2. and how to go from here?
TTuser 4th November 2008, 21:03 if you need to do something again should you first search, load a new Version from here
http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2086254&postcount=58
i mean your htc should now not like to run the patched .exe
you do now the same what you posted in your 1. post
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 21:14 You mean I didn't really patched it? I try to run TomTom on my HTC Touch Diamond, but it doesn't work. With New Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher.rar (your link) (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=444322&d=1225627114) it should patch just fine? I have to do a hard reset again, because I overwrite the original file on my Phone.
Then I have to do this:
1. I copied TomTom Navigator.exe from my Phone to my PC in the map insert_meta_from_Map_here
2. I renamed the TomTom Navigator.exe to TomTomNavigator.exe
3. I run RunMeforDCT.cmd and patch the executable.
No "Mapname"*.meta inside "insert_meta_from_Map_here" Folder
No Fake meta.txt Check possible without *.pna in insert_meta_from_Map_here

Don't be in a rash with hard reset.
Lets go step by step.
1. Now you have patched Navigator.exe version 7450 (9030). Is it correct?
2. When you run TT it doesn't start up. Is it correct?
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 21:23 yes. But I thought I had a too old version of Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher. That that was the reason you post that link. Or was it only for a new meta.txt?
Alex20047 4th November 2008, 21:31 No it is not a reason.
When it doesn't start up it means that the progamm just start to run and then disapear. Sorry that i repeat the question but I need to know.
And please say have you TTHome installed at your computer?
TTuser 4th November 2008, 21:31 Or was it only for a new meta.txt?
yes, mainly
the exe have a signature, if you patch it is sig broken and your phone like not more to run it, you need to remove the sig
you can now do what you post in your 1 Post here
cenoatsra 4th November 2008, 22:04 It does start up and then disapears.
I don't have TThome installed on my computer. Should I do that also? Maybe it is on one of the cd's I received with my Htc Touch Diamond.
Do I have to do like my openingspost?
Alex20047 4th November 2008, 22:22 cenoatsra
At present the official version of TT7 for Dimond is 7.910. I believe that much better to fight with this new version, than with old one.
More. Again, please don't be in a rash! :)
Your problem can be settled in 20 minutes but in a future you could again face it.
1. I belive that if you use TT7 it will be useful to install it at your computer. Download it from here http://www.tomtom.com/services/service.php?id=16&tab=87 and install at your comp.
2. Connect your Dimond to your comp wait a bit while AciveSync start work and run TThome.
3. Select internal memory (NOT storage).
4. Select “Upgade my device” TThome should proposed a number of voices and new application – 7.910. Uncheck all voices and agree to download and install this application. Follow instructions from TTHome.
Please report the results.
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 01:25 1. I downloaded TomTom Home 2.4 and installed it.
2. Then I connect my HTC Touch Diamond with my pc using Active Sync.
3. The option I have to select are both the same name. Which one should I choose?
http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/4981/tomtomtk8.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
4. Can't I choose to download the voices, because I haven't got any?
TomTom Navigator 7 is standard on my Rom. I couldn't find a proper scene release of a newer version.
Sorry for my late reaction but I had to play futsal.
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 01:56 1. I have choosed the first option. I couldn't wait anylonger :)
2. Then i downloaded the updates and not the voices.
3. Followed the rules from TomTom to complete the installation from the update.
4. When I started the Htc Touch Diamond again it wants to run a file, but it doesnt work. I think it was autorun.exe. So I installed it manualy.
Now my version number is 7.910 (9185)
What should I do now?
TTuser 5th November 2008, 02:13 go to the belonging Thread and load a patched .exe
http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=301775
since you need only a clean patched Version and nothing other go to post 5. and load this .exe and replace your original
for this Version need you now to use Option 1 from Easyusetools
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 02:34 1. I connect my phone with my pc using Active Sync.
2. I copied TomTom Navigator.exe from my Phone to my PC in the map insert_meta_from_Map_here
2. I renamed the TomTom Navigator.exe to TomTomNavigator.exe
3. I run RunMeforDCT.cmd and tried to patch the executable.

I think I am mixing two things together. Patching the .exe and keygen the maps.
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 02:41 I also tried to patch the .exe with RunMeforMetaKey.cmd, but I think this is also not for the .exe. But i post it anyway.

TTuser 5th November 2008, 02:42  why do you not what i say:confused:
this Version can you not more patch alone, you need to use the already patched exe from the other Thread where i post the Link.
you need also to copy .meta from map into insert_meta_from_map_here Folder or it happens nothing, this is why the Folder have this name (copy better also .pna)
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 02:57 Sorry I thought I could also patched it myself. But I downloaded the already patched TomTom Navigator.exe and data.chk from http://www.anonym.to/?http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=WIH8ICU8.
Then I copied them to my TomTom folder on my Htc Touch Diamond.
If it is patched oke, I could run TomTom now on my Htc Touch Diamond? And it runs. So now I can try to make the downloaded maps work with TomTom.
1. Copy the .meta from the downloaded map and put it in insert_meta_from_Map_here.
2. Which batch do I have to run, because RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd only works with drive letters and no spaces. Must I use?:
*RunMeforDCT.cmd
*RunMeforMetaKey.cmd
TTuser 5th November 2008, 03:05 yes, if this one which you select from all this Links is a only patched nothing other changed (qvga blue black something strange)
..fordct is for the Use with Folder insert_meta....
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 03:08 I was editing my post but I read that you post already :)
TomTom runs. So now I can try to make the downloaded maps work with TomTom.
1. I have to copy the .meta from the downloaded map (TomTom.Maps.of.Benelux.v7.25.1883.Retail-T0nK4) and put it in insert_meta_from_Map_here.
2. Which batch do I have to run, because RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd only works with drive letters and no spaces. Must I use?:
*RunMeforDCT.cmd
*RunMeforMetaKey.cmd
TTuser 5th November 2008, 03:15 and i read your edit and edit my post and write
..fordct is for the Use with Folder insert_meta....
fordct include also the automatic way how the runmeforauto;)
formetakey is only to create new meta key if you have a new Map where current no key exist
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 03:26 Funny :) I did like this:
No Fake meta.txt Check possible without *.pna in insert_meta_from_Map_here
Enter 1,2 or 3 for your Choice, Standard is 1
1. Run it for Version PDA7.451, 7.910; 7.900, 8.010 and higher
2. Run it for all other Version 7 up to 8.002
3. Run it for Map 6

### Run Keygen ###
'Benelux-17.meta' - OK
^^^^^^^^Keygen Output here!^^^^^^^^^^
Keygen says OK , copy now the new *.dct into your Mapfolder
Used DeviceID = **********(device number)
Used Option 1 you need also a patched TTsystem / TomTom Navigator.exe !
Enter any key to continue. . .
Then I copied the map "Benelux.7.25.1883" to "HTC Touch Diamond/Internal Storage/My Documents". Where also the free map of 'Eindhoven" is stored. Is this the wright place?
And I copied the new "Benelux-17.meta.dct" to my HTC Touch Diamond. In the map where TomTom is installed?
TTuser 5th November 2008, 03:31 if it original install a map in this place then should it also the right place for a other map
yes new .dct also in mapfolder and then try it out
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 03:34 It would be the map "HTC Touch Diamond/Internal Storage/My Documents/Benelux.7.25.1883"?
Shouldn't I also need to patch TomTom Home?
TTuser 5th November 2008, 03:37 It would be the map "HTC Touch Diamond/Internal Storage/My Documents/Benelux.7.25.1883"?
ok should works
Shouldn't I also need to patch TomTom Home?only if you need to use the Emulator
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 03:52 Can you explain? To use the Emulator?
Does also v8 maps work?
TomTom works with v7maps. THANK U VERY MUCH!!! I was becomming mad :)
TTuser 5th November 2008, 04:04 no v8 maps
i know not is a Emulator at all available for your htc, if yes then is in Mainhomescreen right side a Button "operate my...." since no dll is available for this Version works it also not
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 04:11 Oke then I don't download the v8 maps.
But TomTom Home works. I can update, but I can't 'operate my....' Is this a big problem?
TTuser 5th November 2008, 04:26 no, you have Home at all not used until you install it today, i think you need then also the emu not ;)
Alex20047 5th November 2008, 08:49 At present "Operate my ..." doesn't work for any PDA.
No dll is available from TT for these devices. Don't waste your time trying to find it.
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 13:32 I Want to thank you helping me! It works fine now on my phone!!
cenoatsra 5th November 2008, 15:48 Personally, I am not often on the highway, but if I drive on it, it's hard. I don't like the highway and wan't to be off at it as soon as possible. I saw on the website of TomTom that there are different services, HD Traffic/Fuel Prices/Safety Alerts. Because I do not often on the road, it's a little expensive to buy them monthley.
With my virus scanner I have an illegal link, where the new virus updates/defenitions are put on. Someone puts his legal updates here. Is there for the TomTom services not such a link which you can retrieve the data from GPRS? Or should this be downloaded from the site and installed on your TomTom and therefore do not have the current Safety Alerts and Traffic Jams?
pranavsethi 12th November 2008, 15:35 I Want to thank you helping me! It works fine now on my phone!!
Could you please explain how you did patch the maps......TT& is working fine, i downloaded teh free maps also and it works with that also.
I need to unlock and use Australia maps....tell me how you did at your end.
Thanks
cenoatsra 12th November 2008, 16:22 Did you read the whole topic? Because I think it would be very easy. Therefore i posted all the codes from the batchfiles.
MysteryAnkh 12th November 2008, 19:28 Hi,

Don't be in a rash with hard reset.
Lets go step by step.
1. Now you have patched Navigator.exe version 7450 (9030). Is it correct?
2. When you run TT it doesn't start up. Is it correct?
I use Runmeforautomatic, but my computer can't see any drive? Do I need some files or I do somthing wrong? My Phone is HTC Tilt?
