i installed red alert 3
there was a direct x error...

i got this message

please make sure, direct x 9 or higher is installed, also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements, and that you do not have hardware acceleration disabled in the display control panel

i know i didnt met the specs for red alert 3

my ram is 258 and the minimum was 518

but i didnt also met the specs for resident evil 4 but i was able to play it.
now i wondered why i cant play red alert 3

i posted the same thing around some forums ad they told me that my video card is old. but my video card ables to play almost every game i install. red alert. tiberium and watever.

now my question is how do i overcome the problem w/o buying video card and upgrading ram?
there should be something a .dll file or something that might overcome the problem.

if theres any... pls post.. and share...

:good2:

Have you check the video requirements of Red Alert compare to your video card?

Sometimes its just not the size, its the model # of video card which is the game not accepting.

This software might help you
