also which is better avg 8 pro or Spyware Doctor pus antivirus.

there aint no such thing as better
its what you prefere

one is safer but slower
an other is fast but with few options
they all have something
try em out yourself

i prefere norton
but i also think yer in wrong section

@ffernandes: I was a big fan of TrendMicro for some years (until they make it like Norton crap - using TOO MANY resources), i'd used this year ESET Smart Security (until they destroyed the engine and make bigger files eating more resources and not detecting some viruses)...Now i'm with avast! Professional:weedman: and one free firewall :excited:
For all above i have paid licenses but it's up to you...

You can also try kaspersky either AV alone or Internet Security.

AVG is very efficient, detects many types of malware and regular updates. The positive aspect is that you can have the update file downloaded separately and update your software by file..

CamAV is a best free anti virus to use..you don't pay a cent!
