View Full Version : How to "hack" into my own system .........
XGTM28 7th November 2008, 17:30 ......... from the remote location?
I've spent years try to make my system secure, now I want to learn doing the opposite way.
Let say that I'm away from home, I now want to "hack" (or whatever the name it should be) into my own system. How do I do it?
What available are: I know my home public ip address, I know my home pc private ip address, I know my router admin username/password, I know my wireless WEP or WPA password.
Basically, I know all info about my system.
What I don't know and want to learn is how to get into it?
On my home system (desktop or laptop), what should I do to it?
From the remote location, which tool allows me to get the job done?
Assume that I do not want to setup VNC.
Thanks for all inputs.
Myk! 10th November 2008, 18:55 And what do you want to do with the PC you will try to hack? Like remote desktop that you can see his desktop and control his mouse / keyboard? Or getting his files?
If you want to remote desktop then you should have access with it. If you want to get the files, of course the folders must be shared and no firewall is blocking you. You need his IP address and WEP/WPA keys.
Keyloggers to get his passwords??? Not allowed to teach hear.
XGTM28 12th November 2008, 18:01 All your "his" is mine here.
His PC, his files is my PC, my files.
As I stated in my thread, I have all info of my own system, from public IP to private IP address of each of my PC and laptop, from router admin password to WEP/WPA keyword, from Windows admin login password to Windows guest login passwords.
I know them all since they are mine.
And also said above, I don't want to set up VNC Server for remote login because if I do so then I will not use the term "hack".
The reason I asked is when chatting online, many dudes said if I do not set router admin password, then it means I open the door (or let the door opens) for people to get in and search around my PC. Instead of NOT setting the router admin pw, I do set it but since I know my own pw (or assume like hackers know my pw) I want to know how to "get in and go around"
basflt 12th November 2008, 20:32 it would still be 'teaching how to hack' .:furious:
= not allowed:no:
try some waras- sites:pmpl:
a router password is only for your router:anger:
your internet-connection allways has some open doors [ports]:saw:
[logic , or else you wouldnt have no connection at all]:hilarious:
:devilish:
XGTM28 13th November 2008, 00:21 I understand that, but in order to get into my system, you or hacker who travels around on the internet, must "open my door", in this case, my router/firewall. If I let the router with default mfg. password, then it more like "the door is close but not lock", with password set, "the door is now close and lock".
Now, from outside looking in, if i (or you or hacker) have the key/password, how simple you can get in???
Anyway, if it not allowed then I'm sorry.
basflt 13th November 2008, 19:53 im not a hacker or so,
but what i understood is;
hackers look for "doors" that ARE open
when you are on internet you have at least one " door" open
with advanced firewalls you can determine wich ports can be opened and in which direction
i dont how many ports there are , but some of em are open [ or you wouldn't have a connection ]
teaching how to hack is not allowed , but that doesnt mean we cant discuss the details here
[ i think ]
XGTM28 13th November 2008, 21:09 hehehe, thanks basflt,
I have to spend a few more years learning how to hack first before I can discuss about it :)
