This version is buggy, you cant get direction.

googlenavigator.exe will have error everytime you try to GO after to set Start and END points.

Very right. Infect every version tried before wont give direction, but it's ok since it can give location and SMS, but not email( crashed).
Someone who had purchased this apps should report to the developer, I cant because.........:punish:

So, if I want it to save some offline map for later use, while I am offline..'Duh'.. can this version save the map of the 'Whole' town or city, without me having to scroll all over the city to make it download that part of the map?

whusler.. this feature don´t depend of the program.. is about of google maps.. if they don´t have your area whit this , the apps can do nothing.

Hey this may sound retarded but do you have a manual for this app?

Because each time I try go to the "get direction section" and put the starting and ending points, it will either say (direction not found) or at the bottom of the map it will say (Waiting sinal get direction).

It also has (0 Sat...)

menu/option/gps (set yur gps mode)

After putting "my location" in and then go to the "get directions" section- I notice the satellite is at zero, latitude/ longitude is zero, and mph is zero. Also the "waiting for sinal for directions" is displayed at the bottom.

So my question is after setting my location and entering my start and end points, will the satellite activate the gps or something and will all else follow when I leave the house and start driving or walking?

I want to see if it is me that not doing something right because I am use to setting start and end points in a gps and it calculates the route immediately without even moving. So I want to know if Google Navigator operates differently.

I also have a xv6800 mogul with national access data blocked but wifi is enable so will this make a difference.

What is your gps setting if you don't mind?

I have 4 quick more questions please.

With Google Navigator, will it work with out having a data plan because I have my access blocked from Verizon and only use wifi?

Will I need an actual GPS hardware connected to my phone in-order for Google Nav to work, or will it work on its own by it just being installing it in my phone with the proper settings and wifi?

The other two apps you mentioned, "garmin and igo" do they work own by just installing on the phone with out any GPS hardware, software, or data connections? Was hoping it will work with just wifi.

Are those 2 apps free and if not do you have a cracked version? Please let me know where I can get them.

I went to start/setting/system/external gps setting on my phone and made sure the gps program port was set to COM4, hardware set to none, braud rate 4800, and managed gps automatically recommended was checked.

These are the setting that I found through a Google search.

Then I went into the start/setting/phone/services/location on my phone to change it from 911 only to location on then soft rested.

Then followed your direction in gps setteing for Google Navigator. After putting the setting in, I hit start gps and a few seconds later a message cam up that gps "No GPS data received from COM:4 BrardRate 4800.

how do I download city maps so I can use it offline...

I don't know why when i install it ask for choosing memory card or device, however neither of them the program able to install.
