panzercool 21st November 2008, 18:47 This is fast and good !! Works well on ASUS P320
leoking3 26th November 2008, 18:39 It crashes on samsung omnia, meaning that after you try to add a picture (which I dont know what resolution they need) the phone doesnt ring anymore and no call shows upeven you get it. I called myself and there was no sign of a call on the screen. They make really strange programs. And when it worked the picture didnt look anything like the one in the description. So it sucks for Omnia even if it looks so promising.
gpap2004 26th November 2008, 18:53 I have the same problem as leoking3 in my omnia.

The PhonEx software seems to have a really hard time recognizing certain JPG files. I haven't exactly narrowed down what the resolution requirements are. It will actually act randomly with the same JPG file over and over; sometimes it'll recognize it, sometimes it won't. But when it DOES recognize the JPG properly, the incoming calls look fantastic. I'm disappointed that it doesn't recognize my phone camera pictures in any resolution at all.
I haven't had any problems with incoming calls with this software unless it's combined with MSVC (Microsoft Voice Command). Only then will it act as you described. Do you have MSVC installed? Or is it installed by default on the Omnia?
One problem I am having with PhonEx is that it doesn't like being loaded via "Notifications" instead of being loaded directly. If I activate PhonEx by clicking on "Missed Calls" or by pressing my "Call" hardware button, it goes to the last screen PhonEx was on (ie: Incoming call, or dialed call) and stays frozen there. I have to X out and load it again manually by the "Contacts" software button or by the PhonEx icon.
Other than that long rant, I'm still loving the software and waiting for an update.
Thanks!
