The Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2009 DVD and data cards include the same detailed maps, points of interest and coverage areas as our traditional City Navigator North America data, just compressed differently for your NT compatible unit.
PART NUMBER 010-10989-51: Garmin has confirmed that part number 010-10989-51 for the City Navigator North America 2009 Update is exacting the same DVD as the one on this page with part number 010-10989-01. The reason for the slight different in the part number is due to the packaging. The City Navigator North America 2009 Update DVD that we ship is on a plastic clamp shell packaging. The DVD that ships from Garmin is in "web packaging" which means it is just the DVD in it's case.

Update your existing North America City Navigator NT DVD or GPS Software to Version 2009 with this DVD. This update DVD is for NT products only! (See below for the compatible Garmin units and Mapping Software) The NON-NT units require the Update North America City Navigator DVD 2009 (not available at this time).

This retail map update DVD offers full coverage of North America - United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. This new generation of Garmin Map Update allows customers a simple and convenient way to update the detail maps and the latest over 6 million points of interest in their NT-compatible Garmin product. Customers will have all the latest details to navigate with confidence.

Compatible Garmin GPS and Software:
This update is for NT versions of City Navigator Software. The NON-NT units require the Update North America City Navigator DVD 2009 (not available at this time). You must already own a Garmin compatible product to make use of an update. The update data will not load without an existing installation of your older version of the Garmin software or GPS.

Please note that this update will not work with units that do not use the NT City Navigator software (ie. StreetPilot 2620)

1)grmamnt.zip and extract again
2)Burn all files to DVD if you like to or Navigate to Windows\CNNANT2009Update_ENU.msi
Wait for installer to finish.(you must run it from there otherwise will ask for previous version to overwrite it)
3)Create yourself a key for Mapsource using the Map ID: 325
Load new maps to your GPS.

I tried installing this on my Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS...it downloads to the unit ok but then it says "Cannot unlock maps" when I start the GPS. Anyone have any idea why?

You need to get the Garmin Unlock Generator v1.5 by Jetmouse to unlock the map.

I believe you need to use the NT versions. But if you have a map, you can select certain areas to upload to your device.

Ok, got the 2.2 gigs of map data downloaded. Can I use them if I didn't have Mobile XT before? I do have it successfully installed and maps of the northwest US installed but I can't seem to extract the gmapsupp.img from this 24 part download. I thought I was having an issue with combining the 24 parts but I now have a file that is 2.17 gigs in size in the folder but no .img file to copy to my sd card. It has a file called "disk1.cab" and cnnant2009update_enu.msi. and 4 other different .msi files included All help is appreciated!! I am stuck!!

You should install "cnnant2009update_enu.msi" on the desktop PC first of all and I think you should run MapSource program to select desired location of entire map by "map" under "Tools" menu.

Then use "Send To Device" under "Transfer" menu to download, but I think you have to unlock the map before you download to pocket pc by "Unlock Maps" under "Utilties" menu.

First I would like to thank everyone with the tools and all. I have two Garmin Nuvi's one is a 200 and the other is a 200w. The 200w is just the wide screen. I loaded the maps no prob on my 200... went to load same map on the 200w and it loaded but when I turned on it popped a window that said:

No detailed maps found that support routing.
The nuvi cannot be used without them.

Anyone have an idea as to a fix for this? Thank you in advance!

My question exactly.... after downloading all files from the uploading.com links (except for the missing 12th part, which I had to download from rapidshare), it does ask me for an alleged 25th part....

What are we doing wrong here? Any advice would be helpful....
