hi i'm a relative new user of linux.i dont know whether this is the correct place to ask but there is no separate linux topic in networking thread;so i'm asking it here.
i'm not able to browse net with freespire distro.while using win xp i could do so but not with freespire.here is the screenshot of the problem i'm facing.by the way i'm using dataone broadband of bsnl,india.please help me to connect from freespire:thanks:

I cant read your screenshot. Too small.

Have you contact your internet provider? Definitely they can help you on your problem.

change ur os to ubuntu or some other linux distro coz i installed freespire and i could n t connect to the net.in vista it was working fine but in freespire it only worked when i login as root user.. if ur a new user like me then ubuntu is the best distro for all purpose. i also do a little networking and works like a charm.u can get the distro from

thanks;actually i switched over to ubuntu not long after posting this msg.i completely forgot about it.definitely ubuntu is a lot better than freespire,even baisakhi is better than this
