Hi, thanks for the reply, but a bit difficult for me to understand ,sorry, can you explain a bit more? What is this "host" file? I use Airtel in india and how do I get this host file? Is it there in my phone itself? In any system folder?:thanks:

@big_daddy
The host file is in the archive profimail 2.91 s60.zip that you download from here.
You download the archive to your pc, and you extract all the files with winzip or your favourite archive manager.
Then you send ProfiMail_2.91_S60.sis to your phone (via bluetooth or via cable) and you install it.
Open profimail, click on menu then buy & unlock: you will see your imei.
Open the keygen on the pc, put in you mobile imei and get the unlock code.
Put your code in profimail and unlock the app.
Close profimail.
In the extract files on your pc you can see two folders: Host1 and Host2.
open folder Host1 then C and data folders and you will see a file named hosts.
Send this file to your phone and put it in C:\data\system (It could be C:\data, depending on your phone, in mine n70 is C:\system\data)
Open profimail and try downloading mails.
If it doesn't work delete from your phone the hosts file you copied and try the hosts file in host2 folder.

Avira is wrong keygen aint a virus!
Some of you guys are hilarious enough to perform in Saturday Night live.
-"Oh, the antivirus is wrong this is not a virus"
Yeah, right! Keygens are usually the most infested applications that you can download to your machine. Guess why?
-Everybody's looking at ways to run applications without paying for them! Every single one of us are stingy as nonone else, never accepting that some soft cost money. We are - in other words - perfect victims for people who wants your bank details/pivate stuff or just want to use your PC for sending spam.
Am I one of them?
-Hell yes!
But what I am not is someone who believes the word of "John Doe" on Forum xxx when he says "It's clean, that I can guarantee!"
So a bit of advise to all of you - like me - who have the constant urge to download stuff off the net and just want to make it work:
Begin with
[Only registered and activated users can see links] if there's many hits, something is smelling.
(and it's not my old socks that escaped last weeks)
It is true that some keygens show up as viruses/trojans/worms etc, but when you get more than 1-3 hits and you get them from the more known and established antivirus scanners, well... I repeat - it is not my old smelly socks that stink.
Install a "sandbox" - Virtual PC works perfect for that - with win98/millenium/xp (depending on your hardware), turn off the network (in Virtual PC) and run the keygen in this enviroment. Whwn you have your key you can roll back your "Virtual Harddrive" to how it was before = no saved malware.
Sorry for the rant, but this sh*t with "Oh, but it is safe" just bugs the hell out of me.
(And yes, I did try to download this file for sending to virustotal, but it got stopped by my firewall)
-Over and out,
Good luck, and be careful out there!

You thinking this is about being a smartass just gives proof that you haven't understood anything. Also, if you really tried this before sharing you would have seen the following:
File profimail_2.91_s60.zip received on 01.18.2009 14:08:15 (CET)
Result: 23/39 (58.98%)
What can I say? Thank you for checking this file before uploading it.
-So... Who's the real smartass?

So? Antiviruses give same reaction for nearly all keygens here cause they are illegal files, we all are aware of that so no need for ''hey i know da stuff look at me look at me'' behaviour! Did u see this one practically harm ur computer? Did anyone? If so report it instead of messing with keygens we know that stuff already! As i said if ure that much of a genius to not to trust keygens here just dont use any or report if you see practical troubles do not state the obvious with gibberish!
If you cant deal with it the shut it with ur stinky socks, check every topic here with keygens, antiviruses give warning for nearly all and this or that way we state they are safe if they are! Do u not install 3rd party apps just cause the phone says they are untrusted with same exaggerated logic? Keygen is safe so get over it!

lol
- No... but really. I'm sorry about the socks, I'm sorry if I was percieved as rude.
Let me try to bring this back to a more "civil" and productive exchange of opinions.
- Have you ever experienced a good firewall giving warnings about unidentified processes trying to "get through" without you asking for it?
- Have you ever worked for days cleaning out malware from computers?
- Have you ever seen a message about application "x" being blocked for reason "y"?
I think it's quite a verified fact that there is not one anti-virus/-malware/-whatever app that catches everything, reporting everything the way it should be reported. That is also why a lot of users can run the same keygen/app/crack and never see one sign of trouble.
What made me react from the beginning was you saying "avira is wrong there is no virus", (if you read the comment before yours the guy actually says that AVG warned him, not Avira...) because the same reason you might ask yourself what makes me the expert in my comment, gives me reason to ask you the same question for being so sure about yourself.
I do agree with you (and others) when you say that many keygens gets reported as bad, but when it's a case with false positives it's usually only a few of the antivirus engines that report errors. When something is scanned and more than half of the "engines" report it as bad it's usually because it is bad. Sometimes I actually bother to google for what's reported, and most of the times the results are real scary.
I've been through (and cleaned out) more computers than I can count - which by no means makes me an expert in the field even though I earn loads of euros on it. But I do I think it's quite a verified fact that there is not one anti-virus/-malware/-whatever app that catches everything, reporting everything the way it should be reported.
That is also why a lot of users can run the same keygen/app/crack and never see one sign of trouble. I actually had a very irritated email from my ISP blaming me for sending spam, and when I saw the dates of the alleged "spamming" they matched the dates of my girlfriend bringing the work laptop home. Investigating the matter further showed that there's a number of people using the "guilty" computer, and that this computer is filled with apps that has nothing to do with the work this company does. And none of these apps are legally registered.
In the end I'm not asking you and the whole world to agree with what I'm saying, only that everyone is a bit more careful with what they upload and/or download. We're all responsible for what we do with our own computers, but by checking an extra time - by being a bit more concerned about what Virustotal says about a certain file we could help the next guy avoid problems.
Let me "round this up" by asking you a question:
Do you think it's such a bad idea to actually use some kind of "sandbox" environment for running keygens in? I'm only asking since that part of my first comment seem to have been forgotten in all this. Do you perhaps have any other ideas to share on how to stay safe(-r)? Let me help out a bit by linking to another thread here where you (and others candownload a working, basic vhd (virtual hard disk) containing Win98 together with the installer for Virtual PC: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Ohh.. and by the way - since I just noticed that it's not even allowed to report hits from Virustotal anymore this will be my last post in this matter. I'm sorry for all the people that will (think that is for certain) get problems in the future. Strange policy, strange rule, and not really helpful to anyone.

That I am at all here and reading all this testifies to my being a 'keygen-user", so I am not writing this with any holier-than-thou under/overtones.
It does seem to me that gosa's advice is quite useful.
Would using "sandboxie" as a virtual environment be sufficient precaution?
