I need your help please.....
My 6120c had firmware v5.11 but unfortunately i updated to the non hackable v 6.01..
Now can i downgrade back to v5.11 using Nokia care suite and usb cable???
If not what do i need to downgrade firmware or should i wait for v6.01 to be hacked?
because some people say if i downgrade firmware, the phone won't never ever work again..

Thanks for ur answer bro...
But i m afraid of the risk, since it can damage the phone...
i think i'll go for it only if i m 100% sure it would work again.

@sec9009
Is your phone listed as supported? (You can check compatibility in Store PST > Help > Supported Products)
Keep in mind it may be listed by its Product type (i.e. RM-356).

Also, have you restarted your computer after installing the DP?
Finally, it is recommended to install (and keep installed) only one DP at a time; if there's more than one DP (even for different phones) try uninstalling all of them but the one you want to use.

That's all I can think of.

Thanks for the info, but I forgot that I've changed my product code.
It worked and reflashed my phone successfully.

-Have you installed all pre-requisite runtimes? .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable

Also, it is recommended to uninstall all other Nokia software before installing this (including Phoenix, PC Suite, Diego and all Connectivity and Flashing drivers).

after many days and hours of trying and looking around here and google.... i couldn`t get to the finish of the installation. it rolls back the setup and i`ve no success installing NCS.
i have already .net framework 2.0 a.k.a dotnetfx. actually i had first .net 3.0 , 3.5 then i uninstalled them and left only 2.0
for cleaning nokia software i used nokia cleaner (somewhere from nokia site). i've had phoenix but i uninstalled it and cleaned registry and application data/common files etc. folders for storing the program junks.
anyway... any ideas ??? the point is to have it along with the pc suite, nsu, nss and so one..
any ideas and help would be useful. thanx!
P.S. however i installed it successfully on clean Win2000 SP4 @ vmware virtual machine.

@mitko_d
There's definitely one or more Nokia components still installed (and running?) in your system.
I'd say you install it in a fresh and clean windows installation (as you did with Win2000).
Once that's done, you should install first NCS, then the rest of the apps (NSS, PCS and NSU, preferrably in this order).

@Charlys
BB5 phones (like N82) can only be downgraded with a box (like JAF, MT, etc).
Since these are extremely expensive for just a downgrade, another option is to take your phone to your nearest Nokia Care (Service Center). They may do the downgrade (yet, they may refuse to do it, or even ask money).

Sorry not possible. ANd you won't be doing it with a USB Cable ,you'll need a FBus cable.
