Don't botter uploading on transfer.ro Files are lasting there only 7 days and lately, dl speed is very poor.

i use trasfer.ro only fr direct sending files, not for hosting :) and i use it between mitnet.ro - bucharest and rds. i send files from mitnet with ~8mB/s and the recieve them through rds with the same speed :)

for seeing all pois on map, you have to set the detail level of the map to high. it will become slower but all pois will be shown. remember that you can search through pois even if they are not visible ;)

You need to have PoiLoader to send it to your device, than will be GPI format. Renaming won't solve anything.

I have no time to tested now (due to wife duties:)) but I just wanna say Thank You, Ioji!!!!!

Also, a map in mapsource format for this one is great expected. I hope it won't take long to have it on PC.

I just tested the map yesterday (not downloading from here), and I must say that tha map is really a monster. It has such a big details, that you may wonder where is the route? You can see very much POIs, that the route is something neglijable near that POIs. I can find absolutely everything in my area, gas stations, bus stations (with numbers of buses), banks, schools,etc.

Some will need to reduce the level of details, for increasing the map speed.

hi but look again, ioji added alternative mirror with only 2 file.

finaly, i put the map on my phone and it works like a charm...
it`s full of new POIs and new streets.

This map looks very nice, but there are too many bushes around, to much detail. I'll surely use a low detail level with a higher zoom

it just won`t work! i`ve copied it on a nuvi 200. added the gmapsupp.unl, generated the code for my UNIT ID and 1189 (custom mapset) and when i turn the device on it sais that i cannot use the nuvi without any detailed maps???

maybe the mapsurce version... :((

i have garmin nuvi 200w, and i have installed a few months ago road2006 and it works just fine. now what should i do? just copy over gmapsupp.img ? and create gmapsupp.unl with unlock code or what ?

it says no detailed maps found that support routing?!

i found it! The files were neamed (GMAPSUPP.UNL and GMAPSUPP.IMG) and i just had to rename them to ()gmapsupp.unl and gmapsupp.img. No ohter modification to the 25 digit code contained by the *.unl file. so.. users beware of uppercase named files!

machitza: repalce your older gmapsupp.img (aprox 140 MB) with the new one (aprox 420 MB) and the 25 digit code in the .unl file with the one generated for this new map. Should work fine. cheers!

anybody made it work on GMPC ? it says no map, but still it's able to searh adresses.. even shows the map in search.. but no map while browsing or navigating..

mphlorin, i made it work... i just put the map in garminmobilepc folder and added the appropriate .unl file for unlocking it ;) the .unl file MUST be generated with kg v1.5

Thank you for your quick answer, but I prefer to wait and have a clean mapsource installation. As much as I saw on others forums seems that they're having some difficulties when installed with the procedure you mentioned.
