Hello all, I have a Maxtor Ex. HD that I main use to save downloads into. Last night i noticed that after I restarted that it wasn't appearing in My computer. This had happened before and turning off/on or unplugging/plugging back in always fixed it. This time that didn't work, I also tried hooking up to my laptop and it didn't see it either. Any suggestions? I have 100 GB of stuff I would really like to not lose, thanks in advance.

if ur hdd is spinning-feel the vibration when it is cncted.if it is still spinning u can retrieve data with any good DATA RECOVERY SOFTWARE. u can find it on the forum.just search .select software according to ur need, ur file system,ur os.
