In Sygic Aura -there is no Alternate Route Function/option. It may be enabled in 11.3 version.

Actually if MMI 6.0 & MMI 6.1 is there in the same SD card, then MMI 6.1 program works calling only the MMI 6.0 maps from the MMI 6.0 folder since only the MMI 6.0 maps have the universal crypted .lic files. MMI 6.1 maps are not loaded.U can check it from the settings that only the MMI 6.0 maps are loaded. This was for you information.

The iGO 8.3.4 maps for India (2011.Q2) is not from Tele Atlas (used by MapMyIndia), but from Navteq maps used by Satguide devices. The mapping is not accurate enough to be reliable; that's why some routes are not optimal. I have experience of iGO 8.3.4 choosing a different highway, when NH7 was available. However, I don't see any time taken while route re-calculation. It is pretty fast on my HTC HD2.

In Navteq maps, around many towns you can see that the roads are "trimmed" using a scissor (!) when you look in 2D mode. I don't know why they crippled the map that way (for example, Palakkad in Kerala).

This problem is not there with other countries for iGO 8.3.4! In Europe and North America, iGO8.3.4 still rules. We recently had an 848 miles trip, and the navigation was fantastic.

I have a car navigation device on Win CE 6.0 platform.My Navigation software was Mireo BE + Mapmyindia Ver 6.0 This version is amazing, even though i was looking for MMI 6.1 version.Recently I got it from this thread and it working on my Win CE device.I saw so many Q&A is here about it and its lic files.Hence I would like to describe how I installed it. Before that I need to convey my hearty thanks to euphoria2u,mjose & sunielc.

1. I downloaded mapmyindia V6.1 from euphoria2u's #2574 reply [Only registered and activated users can see links]
But without a proper licence file the software is crashing automatically after showing a splash screen. My waiting started... :hardcry:

2. I got the Licence file from sunielc's reply #2583 . [Only registered and activated users can see links]
I downloaded 23 MB files and copy its entire content to my MMI 6.1 Folder. It will ask permission for overwriting existing files.Then I invoked the program but It crashed again :hardcry:

3. Again sunielc on help. I downloaded 1MB files from his reply #2592 [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Copy its contents into same MMI 6.1 Folder. Again asked permission for overwriting. Then I started software and it working without any problem.Yesss mapmyindia ver 6.1 is working perfectly on my winCE 6.0

* I checked map version in the settings,it showing V6.0 but I deleted V6.0 (india_mi_201012) before doing this experiments.That means Mireo BE taking map data from MMI v6.1 (india_mi_201105)

* I think POI is increased/modified,need to check it.

* Got GeoPix Images with plenty of new photos.

Try Mireo via GPS 3.1 Black Edition with MMI V6.0.... you'll find it somewhere in this forum, download it, unzip and copy the contents to your SD card.

You can't use MMI crack with igo maps. MMI uses diff nav sw -Mireo and igo is different.

MMI has Sygic Aura Version for Android and Apple IOS.

Software requires OpenGL ES2.0, which needs good processor and GPU. Won't run on most of the inexpensive Chinese GPS units.

Hi, FYI its due to drive.dll/sdcard.dll/device.dll mismatch. Replace these files with other sygic mobile version.
Also we dont have a activation code to run this sw.

Any update reg activation.?
MMI has provided the req opengl drivers with this package. So most chinese gps will work. We can also disable 3D/building blocks,etc in settings to speed up.
Most of the MMI nav hardware specs are low end.
Need a solution for activation.

I had read up on other Aura WinCE threads on gpsunderground and mobilepassion (just search for aura wince and mobilepassion on google) which mentioned that they were not running on devices without OpenGL ES2.0 . Some crashed while moving into settings etc. I think MMI is using this software only on zx250, for the rest it's still Mireo is my guess. Except carpad, which is Android based. But you're right, I looked at the gl library folder for this and it uses only opengl es1 dll, so maybe it should work. The other Aura WinCE versions that I read about were around the aura v2 times.

I just used the maps for the Android version and as my Winmobile doesn't support OpenGL ES2.0, I had not been looking for the activation actively. But I'll keep an eye out now, since you may be right about this working on other devices too. I think someone who could help is Airon at GPS underground.

A user at another forum on a thread here /forum/sygic-software/13680-regarding-adding-maps-sygic-aura-wince.html (put gpsunderground . com before /forum) points to a file here [Only registered and activated users can see links] in-TnTG . It seems like Mobile Maps but the v8.32 is not one I've come across, the latest seems to be 8.26. But somebody will need to download around 2GB to be sure, anybody willing to try?

For Sygic Aura 7 WinCE Link , In that PirateBay Link It is Written in Romania that :
Its written that, use the old Sygic MobileMaps Keygen (8.16 one) and when Browsing for .mlm file, Set File Toye as "All Files" and select "Content.info" instad of .mlm File...
Tick the 8.16 Button , and then Generate the Code..

Are these the original MMI7.0 Aura WincCE files? If yes, they won't work, I'd already tried before. The only way we may get it to work is with the Aura WinCE of the piratebay link, with the maps from the MMI7.0. It's not guaranteed to work because the piratebay link may work only with Aura 2 compatible maps and not with Aura 11.x maps, but someone needs to try it out to make sure. So once again to be clear, one needs to download the Aura WinCE with Romania maps from piratebay, remove the romania maps and put in mmi7.0 maps and then try the activation.

It won't work my friend. Many people have tried this many months before also; it would have been common knowledge by now if it worked. Anyway, you could try and let us know what happens.

Again, I think the only remote chance of making it work is with 8.32 files and the MMI 7.0 maps. If someone tries that, please do let us know what happens.

Here are my test results with device running wince core 5.0.

The version MMI_Aura_for_wince6_V7.0 starts and gives a long string for device ID as stated by mjose.
Did not attempt to check if it can give a valid key by the keygen software.

Used the program files from the piratebay link (8.32) along with maps from MMIv7.0. Gives a shorter string (34). Used this to generate the key with the 8.16v check box ticked. The resulting key is accepted and the map gets activated. However the map does not get loaded and the Maps option under settings is greyed out.

On examining the content.lic file, I found this line appended at the end
xxxxxxxxxxxx-XXXXXXXXXXXX
The first part I have no clue, but the second part is the output of the keygen which was used for activation.

Also tried with just the key as another entry in the content.lic file with no effect.

I can upload only program files (8.32) if someone wants to do a quick download and try.

Any suggestion for resolution is most welcome.

Thanks udnan for the report and the 8.32 files. Let's see if anyone can get the MMI7.0 maps to work with the 8.32 installation.

For getting it to work it Android, I simply renamed the existing Maps folder to something else and put in the MMI7.0 Maps folder (without any changes) into the Aura folder. It worked alright for me. When one needs to check if new maps are available, simply rename the inserted Maps folder, restore the original Maps folder and run the Sygic downloader.

Try changing the settings.ini file with device=\default\sdcard.dll .You will get a 8/10/12 digit device id depents on your card..

Since Wince Aura is a OEM release there is no keygen as of now. Even for Android Aura version no keygen.Just a workaround to bypass the activation code. So it will take some time to get the proper code for WINCE. Need to bypass the keys found in content.lic.
I'm No Expert. May be wrong.

If an Aura 11.x keygen were available, I think it would work for both Android and WinCE. Sygic activation mechanisms are generally dependent on version rather than platform. Trying the Aura Drive 8.32 files for activation was just a long shot, I knew chances of success were small.

Did Kinshuk upload the rest of the original Mireo MMI7.0 files? He uploaded just a part on gpsunderground, maybe someone just needs to show him how to split an archive into parts and upload.

If Sygic Downloader is used to download/update any map file, will it revert it to the old version.

Replace the contents in Aura folder maps with MMI folder contents (open each folder inside the map and replace the contents, all folders startting with " i "except wcl folder), no need to change any others

I have downloaded "MMI_Aura_7.0_ver_for_wince6.0" from here. I had put them on my chinese PND GPS navigator which runs on winCE5.0. On loading the MMI navigator, it shows ACtivation code for sygic needs to be entered.

Could you pls help me on that.

The iGO maps works great in Chinese GPS system on WinCE.

I tried the steps on #2789 in my android based mobile handset (HTC Tatoo). I am not able to install apk file on my mobile. Any light on that?

It will work. I also have Same in my car. Also, if you want more...then download sygic v11.2 with mapmyindia 6.1

MMI v6.0 don't have any seperate building.cpf files. Use 2d*.cpf and 3d*.cpf files. These files contain 2D and 3D buildings for select cities.

but no building is displaying in map. Also, indiagate building is not displaying.
Also in ordinale.ini, i placed a line buildings=1

I know many guys are waiting for MapMyIndia V 7.0 wince mireo version and meanwhile someone posted its sygic version in our forum.Its a 952MB premium folder and I installed and generated activation code by using sygic keygen.But code is not accepting. :( . This folder comes without a MLM file too.One guy saying we can generate activation code from content.info file instead of MLM file. If anybody with a success installation on this package ,letus know . thanks

Put the .fbl file in the "content\map" folder, and the .poi file in the "content\poi" folder and if you want the .3dl file in the "content\buildings" folder.

Its only for other countries like europe,USA,etc. Not for india maps. If selected, Intersect option will be enabled in search field.
