If you can use secman, then you can use installserver and don't need to bother with all of this signing nonsense :)

Does it mean that it will work with not hackable phones??? I have a N82 and I wanted to upgrade my firmware to v30 from v20... Does this application let us sign without the certificate file and on any of the latest phones? Is that what it's meant to do...

Hey, does it mean that this app allow to install unsigned apps to all the "no-hacked" phones, including new firmwares?
Can we consider it a true valid method for ALL the cra**ed applications?

Can someone confirm this? Thanks

no I think that you must have your own(IMEI locked) valid .cer and .key to be able to sign unsigned files........anyway great program +rep for you if I can!!!!

Dear mates, what is the difference between "Sign Sis" and "Self Sign Sis"?

In addition, I have my own Cert and Key files, if I select "Sign Sis" then I can install the signed application into my phone; if I select "Self Sign Sis" then I cannot install it! Pls tell me the difference b/w these 2 functions. Thanks a ton!

coz of "Self Sign Sis" is just using the app's build-in certificate to sign the file, this certificate's capabilities is very basic.

Pls could you expartiate a little bit more on how you got your unsigned files signed in N96?Admittedly,I tried signing mine but it kept saying that the application was protected. Also,I thought one could import the cert and the key, then sign a particular file, but I discovered much to my chagrin that when I tried to import the cert and key,I found out that they were already there.
So my question is:are the default key and cert valid?
