hi everyone!

my issue is that i cant get to share files between the two OS's; when i had xp on the other laptop it was all fine but with this new vista laptop everything is screwed up....i have a wireless siemens speedstream router which is connected to my desktop via ethernet and to the laptop wirelessly, both the computers are under the same workgroup name and I want to share files pc to laptop and vice versa..

Use network magic.

If you dont want to use 3rd party app, do this. 1st share the folders & printers you want. Chek ip addres of both pc. On pc 1 type on run \\insertipaddresshere then enter. You will see the shared folders / printer on pc2 then you can save it to desktop. Do it also on pc2.

also check settings in defender [vista] and both firewalls

and when you have a connection
make sure internet cannot access it !!!
