Hi tolly57
Yes you can run the 815.2024 map on the 7.9 navcore but you must use a patched TTsystem file and use the latest easyusetool to activate your map. Read this post by terrytpot for more info

Thank-you for the information, unfortunately all links seem to have been removed. It looks as though I need a patched navcore for the Go 300, I will have to search around a bit http://www.ipmart-forum.com/images/smilies/afraid.gifas I have all the other bits.

TomTom Go300 works with patched navcore 8.051 (9404/080813) and with Western and central europe map 810.1907

And you even get Lane Guidance + IQ route :D

Search for already patched torrent TomTom_Navcore_8051_ONExx
and copy it to your sd-card with 810.1907 map and it will be good.
It is for tomtom with wide screen, but works ok for go300.

On my TT300 navcore 8.204 and maps 815.2003 works fine.
Lane Guidance and IQ route, no problem. Even the pictures from LG are good (not widescreen)

Here you are tolly57 use this patched navcore http://rapidshare.com/files/164486474/nav8.24.rar .Download and install to your SD card and just add the map you need. patch with the easyusetool from here http://rapidshare.com/files/179794358/easyusetool_latest.rar
Although you might need to remove the ASR folder from the patched navcore download for it to work best with the TT300

Where did you find the hacked navcore 8.204 for the Go 300?
(I can only find it for other TT's like the Go 540/740/940 etc.)

I've got one more question: does TomTom Go 300 work with SDHC cards? I've got only a normal 2 GB card, but some maps are bigger than this size. (When I download a 2GB Western+Central Europe combo map, plus 160 MB the system...)
Or should we forget the big maps?

No mine didn't work with a SDHC card, incompatibility problem, I use a 4 G/B SD card.

You can try upgrading your system file to the newest version. It is supposed to make SDHC cards compatible with our older devices, and it worked on my TT500, but I cannot guarantee it will work with the TT300.

here is the system file just download to your devices SD card and over-write the existing version

Hi! Want to upgrade a friends TT300 first time..... Have only update my Samsung Omnia with 5 navis :-) but no experience with PNA´s.....
So please can you explain a little bit more for a dummy like me....?

So files are download and cracking the map is known from omnia´s install....
I have to copy the files from "500" Directory to root of the formated 2gb SD Card in TT...ok
What will happende if SD card is placing back in TT? Will it overwrite something in the operating system of the TT device?? Is there something to backup first?? How will it start? Always only from SD??

Where to find this ASR folder?? Cant find it in the install files...

So please explaine it step by step before i will test it tomorow, will get the device from friend...

Thank you in advance for your help....:idol:

Sorry for my bad english....:ilove:

Yes, I'am sorry, but indeed it doesn't start automaticly anymore.
TT choose that this doesn't work anymore.

Peter,

Klopt het dat ik geen flitspalen zelf kan toevoegen. Als ik het doe zijn ze de volgende dag weer weg.??

Alvast bedankt.

I don't know because I don't use speedcams.
I think it must be possible to add speedcams from a site like Flitspaal.nl.
Official speedcams from Tomtom you need to crack with meta-codes.
