Ive search the whole ipmart forum but no success. And also,
googling for a month, but cant
find FTD for N70.

Can any1 help me?
Specifically, how to set n70 to use UMTS/3G Only..
Ill be so much happy, if any1 can teach me or show me a way to do this. Thanks for those such kind heart and willing to share their knowledge. Thank u!

about the network type - i believe its in menu>tools>settings>phone settings>network mode.

Download and unpack the file from the link above. 2. Install in the phone TRK app 2.8.6 (3_0 for pre-FP1 phones, 3_1 for FP1 and FP2) and X-Plore. 3. Run TRK App in the phone, do not allow Bluetooth access if asked. Go to Options, choose connection via USB, leave other options to their default values. 4. Connect the phone to PC in PC Suite mode, choose Connect in TRK. Should say 'Connected'. 5. Run secman.exe on the PC, press Next until it shows the progress of installing something in the phone. 6. You should now have SecMan in your Applications folder. Launch it and if 'Capabilities activated' is not shown on the screen, select Options - Turn Plat. Security OFF. 7. Upload the file FTD_91.rar (for pre-FP phones) or FTD_92.rar (for FP1 and FP2) to the phone. Launch X-Plore, press 0 for configuration, check 'Show hidden files' and 'Show system files'. Return to the files, locate the RAR file, press OK once to enter the archive (you should see four folders), then press 4 to extract and select C:\ as target for the extraction. 8. In N70 u can only choose Dual mode and GSM Mode..
Just like my 6630 bef0re, but in 6630 u can use FTD (NETWORK Monitor), to set ur 6630 to use 3G Only.. Im looking for the same task to w0rk with N70..
The one u posted i think its for S60v3 not S60v2 FP3..

i'm experiencing the same problem..i want an application in n70 for setting 3g only mode..can any one help me plzzzzz....

No guys u have to use the dual mode setting only.
FTD,Netmonitor etc are not available for N70 cos N70 hardware itself dosnt support them.No version of FTD etc will work on N70, so dual mode is only option :(
