after installation program asks to enter a key code or something like this...
ignore it and push to connect with |Bl gps device and go ""settings/information"" and write down the card id number.
at this time the program will often asks you to connect with a bl gps device,ignore it and push cancel to procced to find your card id.

And secondly how do i start the program to see if it works, cause when i press the queppc i am transferred to a screen saying that i have to but, to try to enter a code or to connect with a gps garmin. What do i have to do to see if it is ok?

hi Dimitri.

my friend you have to generate the new codes,with key generator as i say.

first for the sw.unl and after the gmapsupp.unl
the sw.unl unlocks the internal gps (hardware of our device)
and gmapsupp.unl unlocks the map
you have to replace each one with copy/past or delete/and wright it down (copy /past it's easier)
then replace the SW.UNL/GMAPSUPP.UNL with the 2 one who have the new codes that u make with key generator.
then restart the program and no any notifications for register or bl gps device !

i can't do anything else for this my friend...

if i say to you to send me the card id and make for you the codes and send them back to u to copy them in program...
after that i have to do this with all the people in here...
and i can't do something like this...sory..

there are allready 360 people who downloaded the program and only 3 of them have give some reputation...

I know my friend ,I didn’t expect to do something like that..Just a little explanation because I am so little fare away to activate it..ok ..i tell you what I did and if you have a few moments just tell me what I did wrong …I put the devise number and the code that generated I coped and pasted in the notepad, then I save it somewhere in my documents as sw.unl .Then I coped and pasted in the card directory ..same for the maps…is that ok…the garmin like program it opens..but it can’t found maps and gps.. also I deled the two others which the same name that was exist ether

before u do something like this (save and named somthing in .mpla)
you HAVE to first go in folder options of your pc and uncheck the option ""don't show file extencions""!!!

because if you haven't allready did that your notes will be after that ""sw.unl.unl"" because of that the program isn't recognize the sw.unl and gmapsupp.unl....

My friend zaharakis you have explained everything very well, do not worry :)
Maybe it is my fault. I have renamed the files correctly sw.unl and the other one as well.
replaced them alright. But it can not pass the first image that tells me to insert a code or something. I am sure you would follow the same procedure. The codes are correct. I do not have any problem of giving you as much reputation as you would like. You have done a great job!!! I may try it a couple of times and them get back to the destinator which runs so smoothly... @zaharakis Garmin in my n95 8GB its much better than my secont device HD. The windows version has lag and other bugs p.x not find my adreess street....

I downloaded it ok, copied it to my storage card, but when I run QuePPC.exe, a black screen with Garmin's logo pops up after a while, and immediately closes...

it is working like a charm AND IN HD !!

i use it in my HD,also (i have personaly test it) in diamond,xperia,kaiser,omnia and touch pro!!!

the rar has a password,that is in first post..
if u don't place the pass rar will never be extracted!
now about text ""how to"" is working like a charm and u must check in your text options,about codecs or language ..

I finally managed to read the file how to garmin.txt after a little search in MS Word...!

Anyway, the instructions were very good.

Now, when i run Queppc.exe from the Xperia it starts Garmin..

When i go into the garmin folder and try to run Garmin Mobile XT i get a Lincence agreement window where i agree and then i get this error:

There was an error installing Garmin Mobile XT files. Please make sure no other programs are running and there is enough storage in your device's main memory.

and i cant do anything else. BUT. But whe i go under Apps/WM/ and run QuePPC.exe from my device i start Garmin normally. And i copy pasted this shortcut into my start meny programms and runs normally...!

Is this wierd or is it asolutely normal? I have no prob since i can navigate and I get my position on the map....!
And it runs perfectly in landscape mode with the keyboard open! :D

I cant understand why its using my 7 port (called Agps) instead of my 4 port which is Gps.

I tried to manually set 4 port but it doesnt get any signal.

Forgive me if i'm wrong but i think agps is using gprs to find signal... but i have no sim card inside.

I recently installed garmin XT 5.0.0.20 on Kaiser, HTC TYTN II, and put my countries map on it.

Unfortunetly, when i search an address or POI, it types in CAPITAL letters, whereas all addresses and POIs are not, so it only find the first letter.

Example: the maps database has the restaurant saved as "Subway", but when i search, it types "SUBWAY" therefore, it cannot find the restaurant/address/street because the map has the roads/addresses in lowercase whereeas garmin searches in UPPERCASE. Can anyone help me out?

if u are made a copy/past to file QuePPc in start_menu/programms the program will never start!!!
u have to copy/past shortcut of QuePPc.exe to work properly

That's the exact same problem I'm having. And I'm sure that I've followed the steps correctly, (twice!) but the damned same screen that the friend above refers to keeps showing up, and yet I'm not able to run the prog. Man I'm sure you've done a good job here, but does it really work on greek roms?

For the guys who experience problems with the unlocking of their internal GPS.
Take this tool [Only registered and activated users can see links] it is an IMEI Converter, it works for windows mobile phones. When you donloaded and urar it you will find 2 tools. First in the IMEI converter put your phone IMEI and generate the 10 digit unit id that you will put in the keygen in order to generate the unlocking code for the internal Gps. The rest of the steps remain the same, somehow it worked for me!!! Hope to have helped you. Regards John

you have to rename your map to gmapprom.img and make a new gmapprom.unl for this map.
ofcourse you have to know first the map's id number to generate the codes for any map.this id number is named in every map's information.

in Garmin you can add maximum 4 maps(at least in older versions) and every map have to named with a different name!!
somewhere in the forum i think,there are those names,who must maps named,so the program can "reade" them.:goodluck:
