Installation navcore8.204 for GO700 (with the voices x30 and updated rev.1.5)

To activate the map, read and download : Easyusetools for Keygen Mapcheck Metacheck ttsystempatcher

Extract the folder Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher

Installation :
1-Save the contents of your GO700 in a safe place on your hard drive
2-Clear all the contents of your GO700
3-Open the folder ASR (downloaded)
To limit the volume of ASR folder (20450368), keep only the necessary :
Example ASR in English : 7 files for 1247664 bytes: 6ENG.ctx, acmod3200_car_eng_F16_compact_lew4.dat, commandsENG.ctx, ddg2p_eng_vadvde_large_lew4.dat, digitsENG.ctx, Support_asr.dat, yes_no_ENG.ctx
Example ASR in French : 7 files for 1108492 bytes: 6FRF.ctx, acmod3200_car_frf_F16_compact_lew4.dat, commandsFRF.ctx, ddg2p_frf_vadvde_large_lew4.dat, digitsFRF.ctx, Support_asr.dat, yes_no_FRF.ctx
Example ASR in US : 8 files for 1871128 bytes : 6ENU.ctx, acmod3200_car_enu_2_5_compact_lew4.dat, acmod3200_car_enu_f16_compact_lew4.dat, commandsENU.ctx, ddg2p_enu_vadvde_large_lew4.dat, digitsENU.ctx, Support_asr.dat, yes_no_ENU.ctx
Close the folder ASR, copy folder ASR paste it in the root of your GO700
4-Open folder : navcore_SE_8.204.9718_basicpack (downloaded)
-Install navcore_SE_8.204.9718_basicpack contents of the folder to the root of your GO700 later :
-delete files : system5.5022 and system5.5106
5-Open File LoquendoTTS
Open folder voice (downloaded), open folder bin, delete file libLoqTTS7.so, close folder bin, copy the contents of the folder and paste it in the folder LoquendoTTS, close the folder LoquendoTTS
6-Open folder : SE_ttsystem.8204.9718.rev.1.5 (downloaded)
-Copy the folder Outsourced.8204, file ttsystem and paste it in the root of your GO700
-Open folder : SE_ttsystem.8204.9718.rev.1.5 (downloaded), open folder switchfiles, open folder Config, copy files setconfig.txt, version.txt and paste it in the root of your GO700
-Open file setconfig.txt, keep only changedtext:TomTom GO 940 LIVE (delete all other files), delete 940 LIVE, write for example : 700 with your name, close the file setconfig.txt
7-Open folder suspend (downloaded), copy the file suspend.ogg and paste it in the root of your GO700
8-Add folders and files you want from your backup :
-Folders : art, audiobooks, contacts, helpme, itn, mp3, photos, raster, sounds, zip ...
-Files : autorun.inf, tomtom.ico, splash.bmp, suspend.bmp ...
9-Install the map :
-Install folder of your map (downloaded) to the root of your GO700
-Open folder : Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher (downloaded)
Double click on : Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher
Double click on : RunMeforAllAutomatic.cmd
Select : 1 or follow the onscreen instructions
10-Disconnect the GO700, let it reboot. Wait the message : Create ttgo.bak (about 1 minute)
11-Making various settings (select the small keyboard and QWERTY)

For TTHome2 : I use the old method (I do not handle my GO700 with TTHome)
With XP :
Open the folder : Home_Navcore.8.204.9718_tomtom.com (downloaded), open folder Navcore.8.204.9718@ tomtom.com
I copy the file : 8-204-9718-1.dll
In C:\Documents and Settings\ ????????\Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\extensi ons\Navcore.7.903.9183@tomtom.com (or other), I paste file 8-204-9718-1 . dll, I note the file name .dll (7-903-9183-1.dll (or other)), I delete the file : 7-903-9183-1.dll (or other), and I rename file 8-204-9718-1.dll : 7-903-9183-1.dll (or other)
With Vista : C:\Users\????????\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Prof iles\xxxxxxxx.default\extension\Navcore.7.........

I dont own a Go700, but I wanted to say thanks for all your work on these guides. I used the one you wrote for a 910 to update my bosses TomTom. I would rep you again, but the forum wont let me. So...

ive found that the postcode feature of this version does not work, it just freezes when you choose postcode and then it reboots. on a tt go 700

Do a search for this... I recall seeing a lot of posts about this when 8.204 was first released and there is a workaround for it. However I dont know what it is as I live in an area where that feature isn't necessary. It is a problem with the Navcore itself and not with Grard's instructions.

Had the same problem. Workaround is to put the Keyboard Preferences to Small/QUERTY

No further problems thereafter...

I knew the problem with navigate to a latitude – longitude

Navigate to an address: zip code I do not ...
The proper setting is: small keyboard and QWERTY

i just wanted to thank you guys. i was going crazy for a few days trying to get an updated navcore and maps and your guide just walked me right through it!

I have a go 700 with navcore 8.204 and north america 815.2019 working perfectly!

Just a note to other 700 users, i tried updating to navcore 8.3 and even though it installs it hangs up everytime and then reboots. 8.204 seems to be working without issues.

I had a problem, I already followed all the instruction above, and turn on my TT, map been successfully loaded, and I have to choose one of them.
But when I chose the map, my TT said, device can not use this map!
Could someone help for this issue?

the file ".dct" is created ? (in folder map)
try: delete file MapSettings.cfg (in folder map)

Yes I am using that version and moreover,
I couldn't found the files that you mentioned inside map folder which is Australian my friend..
And finally, I just recovered the Australian map back to the originaly and when I turned it on, I got version 8 not 7, but after that my GPS got freezed.
Please helpppp...

ok after using this software for a day i found that my voice commands arent working and i cant speak the address because the icons are greyed out. I have a go 700 on the original dock (w/ built in microphone), so im not sure why its not working.

i have the asr folder from this thread in the root of my tomtom.

Any advice?
